The TMG-WC65 6" 3-Point Wood Chipper is the quintessential add-on accessory needed at your home, acreage or farm. Compatible with 30-75 HP tractors, this woodchipper comes with a category one, 3-point shear pin PTO shaft. That means easy hook-up and energy transfer between this unit and your machine without the hassle of separately starting it by hand. Picking up logs, branches, and debris is usually time and energy-consuming. However, whether you’re pruning, cleaning up from a storm, or just processing general gardening waste, our compact wood chipper makes the milling work on your property effortless and fun to do. A 25" x 25" hopper and 6 1/2" x 10" intake opening allow fallen trees and underbrush to be processed with efficiency and ease. Timber up to 6" in diameter and of any sort can simply be manually fed into the hopper, and you’ll watch this chipper eat it up in a matter of seconds. It has a self-balanced, oversized and heavy-duty steel rotor capable of storing huge amounts of potential energy for long days of spring cleaning and winter preparation. The rotor is housed in a sleek and protective hinged clamshell design, making blade changes no trouble at all. Plus, the industrial and greaseable flanged bearings make for a machine that is strong, heavy-duty, reliable and requiring very little maintenance. Using a Kubota MX4700 (48hp and about 38 PTO hp), it self-feeds very well and makes short work of wood up to and a little above 6”. 

It will easily handle soft wood and popular a little above 6” but one can tell that's close to the limit does hard wood like maple. This, keeping in mind, is with new/sharp blades as well. 

3 pt hookup was easy and it travels well on the back of the tractor. 

I added a grease nipple to the blower clasp so rotating it is a breeze. 

Very happy with it after the first hour of use and can't wait to get it back out once the ground is firmed up.

This chipper eats through hardwood branches like nothing. Great quality for the price.

Wood chipper

Was surprised by how efficient it is. The hopper opening fits full branches, and the rotor speed creates fine, uniform chips. Excellent choice for residential and light commercial landscaping!

Compact but powerful chipper

The steel rotor and greaseable bearings make this a very durable machine. Easy access to the blades for sharpening. Great investment for anyone managing acreage or livestock land.

Easy to maintain

Been using it for commercial brush clearing projects. The rotor energy storage system really helps with thicker limbs. Performs well under long hours.

TMG wood chipper

We've been using this chipper for clearing windbreaks and old orchard limbs. Gravity feed is simple and safe, and the PTO setup on my 45 HP tractor works flawlessly...

Small farm

We use it around our property to clean up fence lines and deadfall. The self balanced rotor keeps vibration low, and maintenance is straightforward. Highly recommend for any small farm!

Farm essential

Seems to be doing a reasonable job. The chute gets clogged if you put too much foliage through without putting some larger branches to help clear it. The gravity feed has no issues with large material but again smaller stuff and the foliage can be a bit of a problem since they're not as heavy. As a positive, it ate a 20ft poplar in less than 15 seconds.

10 hour review

The order came on schedule and arrived in a convenient package. The assembly was simple. I had to rotate the rear bearing in order to access the grease zerk but was simple and quick to do. The chipper handles hardwood branches with ease and I have had no issues after several weeks of use. I would recomend this model of chipper for anyone cutting their own firewoood and keeping your woods and property clean.

TMG-WC62

The gravity feed design is safer than self-feed chippers I've used before. Works perfectly with my 30 HP tractor. The discharge chute rotation is smooth and accurate.
