My son was excited when he saw the package and could not wait to play with it.

Donatello, also known as Donnie, is a superhero in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles books and media. Adopted as second-in-command, he is gentle and intelligent, preferring fighting with weapons. The Mutation Build 'N Battle: Donatello's Weapons Kit is a dynamic, hands-on experience that my son enjoyed playing with. 

The kit comprises interchangeable parts, allowing him to convert Donatello's bo staff into battle-ready weapons. He found it great, capturing his inventive, flexible, and always-ready-for-action characteristics. However, there could have been more components to expand the possibilities for mutation. Despite this, the kit is a creative way to keep children engaged and active. 

My son has become a fan of the turtle Mutation Build 'N Battle: Donatello's Weapons kit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually got this for my daughter as she's teenage mutant ninja turtles daft but she absolutely loved it. 
Very well made and didn't feel cheap like some toys we've purchased. 
She enjoyed putting on the mask as she said it made her feel like one of the turtles as that's what they wear. Lol
The toys were of good quality and had no sharp edges and were made of thick plastic which doesn't seem like it'd break or snap very easily . 
Overall a very good product.

However, they may not survive more aggressive handling or rough outdoor play. This set offers good flexibility as it allows children to create different versions of Michelangelo's iconic weapons. You can switch between nunchaku variations and other creative builds by mixing and matching components. The set is relatively safe, but adult supervision is recommended for younger children. Some smaller parts, especially connectors, can be a choking hazard for very young children. In addition, the plastic is not too sharp, but during intense play, swinging the nunchaku can lead to the risk of accidental hits or bruises. The packaging is attractive, echoing the TMNT theme with vibrant colors and Michelangelo artwork. The box is also practical, keeping all the parts organized inside. In terms of value, this set offers good fun and creativity for TMNT fans. While not the cheapest toy, the ability to rebuild different weapon styles expands its play value.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a fantastic set for any young Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan! My child loved putting on Leonardo's blue bandana and instantly felt like a hero. The katana is well-made and easy to assemble, adding a fun hands-on element to playtime. The ability to customize the weapon with new add-ons was a big hit—it kept things fresh and exciting each time they ‘geared up' for battle! I also love that everything can be easily disassembled and stored until the next adventure. Great quality and hours of imaginative play—definitely a winner!

Transform Playtime with Leonardo's Epic Katana!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy was fun and imaginative as allowed my children to role play as Raphael. Storage wise it was slightly clunky but is easy to store within the toy basket, its edges are rounded for safety however like most toys with smaller children they need to be supervised. 
However due to the toy being plastic I feel that it is easily breakable on the smaller pieces and not a long lasting toy - i feel that wood would be a better material to base the toy on and also more environmentally friendly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My nephew absolutely loves teenage mutant ninja turtles so this is right up his street. Really good product easy to use. The kids have been quite rough with it and it has held its own. I am going to have to buy another as his sister wants one and they keep fighting over it !

Great product

The only problem is the fact it's a weapon and is very much well used as a weapon which has caused a lot of argument and tears in the house. Probably wouldn't buy again. Maybe would be good for an older child maybe 10-12

Better for older children

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves the turtles but was a little underwhelmed by this set. It consists of a little eye mask and a set of plastic nunchucks. She enjoyed playing with these for a short period but as a Mama I worried the would slip from her hand and break the TV/window or she would accidentally hit another child. Great for accessories to a Turtles fancy dress outfit but not so much as a toy for me.
