These stools have nice lines but are not as robust as I had hoped. However for the size of our family & friends they will serve us well. The seat on one is a bit rough & not as well finished as the other. TAKE NOTE: when the directions say "do not tighten bolts till all pieces are assembled" they mean it. Impossible to put together if you tighten the bolts very much prior to the components being put together.

These chairs are cheap for a reason... The assembly process is not too complicated, however they come with a bunch of extra bolts that don't go anywhere. As I read the instructions I realized that the last step said that the seat itself has no holes to be attached to the chair (seriously!?!!). I had to buy wood glue to put the seat in place and make the chairs feel a bit more sturdy.

Not what I expected

Ordered these chairs online sight unseen. I was a little leary but they were more than I expected at the price. I ordered 2 sets. Very nice. Sturdy. Match my eat in dining rooms chairs perfect. Very pleased with the outcome.

More than I expected

I bought these for our beach condo and they are just perfect. I had read the mixed reviews and still took a chance. They were easy to put together and very sturdy for the price. The finish is very nice and the look is just perfect for a beach condo.

Cottage cuteness!

They look very nice in my Florida condo and look great with my "coastal cottage" theme. The quality is durable and not cheaply made. I am super happy with them!!!

Very nice chairs for a very nice price

Not only was the price right but the quality was even better. These stools are sturdy and very easy to put together.

Beautiful

These chairs are really nice. The price was really good too. We purchased four. They arrived in 3 days!!!! They were also super easy to put together. You definitely need a screw gun.

Adorable

Let me start off by saying the positive. The chairs look great at my bar! I get lots of compliments on them. Now the negative... My hubby put the chairs together and here were his gripes: one of the holes on the legs were not drilled all the way through, one of the seats were cut at the wrong angle so didn't sit flush, and hubby had to add some folded up index cards to a couple legs of two chairs just to get the chairs to not wobble. He removed the plastic pegs on the bottom of the legs, folded the paper to the right size, and hammered the peg back on top through the paper. This worked well. I had to put cushions on the seats so you didn't notice the seat that didn't fit flush, but that was okay because the chairs are more comfortable that way.

Looks great, but...

Shipping was quick, and the chairs are beautiful but unfortanately mine had a big chip on it. Didn't have time to return as this was a gift for my mom.  So now she's stuck with one of her chairs with a chip on it even though they're new.

Great, but damaged.

If I had measured the cutting table height beforehand, I would have bought the shorter version. I am using these chairs in my quilting studio and I couldn't get my knees under the table. But all was not lost. My husband makes furniture and cut the legs down to the proper height for me. The chairs match the cutting table he made for me -- white with oak trim. I would by this item again.q
