Christmas present

its very big compared to our old 2.3 litre. Although we also use a full size one with rotisserie we some times use 2 instead of the oven. On sale at 50 dollars you can't go wrong which is why we went to this one. Now as one person stated in their review the cord is not burnt there is some kind of glue on it as mine came this way but was easy to scrap with a finger. lol Cheers!

Worth it!

works as expected quiet took sometime to figure out the basket.  The only complaint is the plastic smell but its less over time and a bit of lemon juice.

Bought this new and it arrived with a strong electrical smell and wrapped in Saran Wrap. When it was plugged in the outlet began to spark. Thinking something may be wrong with the outlet it was plugged into another outlet with same results. Tested the plug with another appliance and that appliance worked fine. I feel this was a faulty fryer that had already been returned. Will be returning today to store for a full refund.
