You get 1300 mbps @ 5 GHZ and 600 Mbps @ 2.4 GHZ which is fantastic speeds. Price point is super too. Mu-MIMO technology so it is current tech. Footprint is good, slides right out of the way. You will be wifi enabled in no time at all. I have had other name brand routers throughout the years and this one is right up there with them in both quality and technology.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you're in need of a strong Wi-Fi signal, both throughout your house, carriage house (OK, garage), and outside, you'll want to have this router. My son did the install for me, as my eyes just aren't what they use to be; it took him all of 10 minutes to install. This new router replaced my previous one, from another manufacturer, that was at least 5 years old. What a difference the leap in technology has made, during those few years. I took the pictures with the Router placed in front of the printer, for clarity. Normally, it sits behind the printer. I've only dreamed of being able to take my tablet outside, but my dreams have become reality. I love this!

Strong Signal, both inside the house and outside

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Presently, I am using this in tandem with my original router from Xfinity, so I am not solely using this as the only router in my home. (My home is a one story ranch and only about 1200 sq ft). That being said you can use this as your only router if you so choose.
 As far as overall performance goes this has fixed all of our lag issues. I am a teacher, so between using this for teaching while my kids are either using their Chromebooks for school work or using the Xboxes for gaming, we have not had a single issue.

If you are looking for a USB port on your router it does not have one.

Fixed my family's WiFi issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this TP-Link Archer C80 | AC1900 MU-MIMO Dual-band Wifi 5 Router hooked up for several days now and I am amazed at the reach. We live out in the country so we just have DSL available to us and the regular router only will support a couple devices at a time so we are limited. This new router has the power to even stream programming on our television which we were not able to do before. While also being on our pads and our phones at the same time. It sure has made this country technology up to date with the rest.

Excellent range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The router is very light with a low profile at only 1.26” high. It can hang on the wall or sit on a shelf; I tested it sitting on top of a book shelf. Setup was easy and automatic. I plugged it in and LEDs on the router showed all green in a few seconds. It was immediately as fast as a wired connection to my cable modem. The range of this router is much better than my four-year-old, $199 router. It solved the problem of my son not getting dependable WiFi to his bedroom and even works in my driveway! There is an app for your phone called the TP-Link Tether app. After downloading, it automatically finds the router and makes management really easy, including downloading firmware updates so you have the most updated software right out of the box. This router is really easy to manage, is super fast, and has excellent signal range.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No computer is required for setup of the tp-link router, instead you can set up this router with your smartphone using the Tether app which is available in the Apple or Google App Store.
This router can also be installed using a laptop or desktop computer.
The tp-link router can be used as your only router or it can be used to extend your existing network by hooking up this router to the router provided by your internet provider. The latter is the installation that I chose because the router provided by my ISP has a very limited range.
The tp-link router has extended range so you can surf the net around your house with no drop outs.
This router has 4 antennas that are 7.5" tall and each one moves completely left, right, front and back to ensure better reception.
This router is Dual Band and has 300 Mbps 5 GHZ + 600 Mbps 2.4 GHZ which makes it perfect for viewing 4K content and essential for households where multiple people are online at once.

Easy Smartphone Setup Option

I am not very computer literate at all so if I say it's easy you can believe it. My fellow meeting members are so happy that this inexpensive basically two step router fixed my problem. The measurements are 9” L X 5” W the router has 4 antennas advanced WiFi features, Parental Controls, Security protects your home and network. Has Smart Connect and 4 Antennas for signal strength. Many features, power on/off, reset, speeds up to 1900 Mbps. We found this does make our connections faster and it works on all devices and even our kindles.

Light weight Router

I'll come back and change my rating if I can find an instruction manual . there is no instruction manual that came with it . that makes it a little hard to set it up , so until I can figure out how to set it up and use it it's a two star rating.

this was delivered in a plain oversized  Unbranded brown box with Absolutely No documents(i.e., informational, instructional or warranty cards) nor ANYTHING with product info. I believe it is an UNDISCLOSED
