[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right out of the box it didn't work, and I bought TWO of these. And I thought I was buying from two different suppliers but it shipped together from one vendor so I'm kind of suspicious about the fact that neither of these “brand new” plugs worked when all my other Kasa products work just fine

This dimmer is just awful, it does not work.
We spent the past two years trying to get it to work with the app. it doesn't work, at all, unless you set it up right within a few feet of your modem in the house!
We spent hours last year, trying with Customer Service, Youtube, but nothing.
Again yesterday, another wasted 3 hours of trying.
