It serves my purpose - to connect chromecast and google home speaker at my hotel room. I need to set it up first time I check in to the hotel every time. However, after that, it is super convenient through out the rest of my stay. I have seen it has wifi extender option as well, but not used it.

Sure, there's a warranty, but for the price, I just viewed it as disposable. None of the others have failed, so as of now, I'm seeing the failure as an unfortunate chance occurrence. My opinion will change if others fail similarly.
