Have cats %26 scratch post for over 50 years. This one surpasses all. Well made. Toys the cats love. Enough weight that a cat does not topple it while scratching.

I was surprised to see how large and sturdy this scratcher was for this awesome price! It is huge and very sturdy. the sisal is a very thick  burlap type of material. Some of the cats, I have five, have started scratching on it and I'm hoping it lasts a long time. They had also been playing with the toys in the back and like to sit on the top perch.
I bought another scratcher from another vendor, same price but slightly smaller, and that one is pitiful compared to the Trixie.

Cats are really loving it! They loved their old scratcher but it really needed to be replaced. I put it off for a while and one day just ordered it. Just like the pic. Cats love it!! And best of all is the price was awesome

This is a fantastic scratching post! I have bought several in the past, but this one may be my favorite. The kittens really do like the toys hidden inside of it.

This cat scratcher was easy to put together and it's really cute! My cat loves it! The little toys inside are perfect! He used it right away

I think the scratching post is sturdy and nice and tall.  My only negative is the way it is put together.  It's a bit difficult to attach the two sides with one person.  I also wish that it was put together with one screw because i can't turn it around without the bottom sticking out and not flush as a square usually is.  Other than that, it is a good post for my cat.
