Can be slow, but also fine in some cases.

Excellent kettle for the price. The stainless steel is a bit thin, but the comfortable handle and good placement of the lid eject button makes up for that. It operates at 1200 watts peak which is something I was looking for in a 1.7L kettle. It takes a bit longer for the water to come to a boil, but I don't have to worry about my beaker jumping if I want to use other small appliances at the same time. For reference, a 15 amp breaker can take 1875 watts max load before the breaker trips.

[Employee of walmartcanada] Love this kettle! Its light and the lid doesn't open until you open it. I bought this kettle several weeks ago and I'm delighted that this kettle has very little calcium build up on the inside.  Easy to clean, I'm happy with my purchase.

Great product for the price!

Still new, so no idea on how well it will last, but it works the way it's supposed to now. Lid fits tight enough the steam doesn't go up in my cupboards and the auto-off works fine. It's a little slow to come to a boil, so if speed is important it might not be for you. Doesn't matter too us.

Good kettle for the price

Great kettle, looks great on the counter, doesn't spill hot water when you pour from it and has the perfect round base so you only have to align on the center to put the kettle back on it and it turns freely on the base. It is louder than my previous one, a bit louder and slower to come to a boil, sides get hot too. But it keeps water hotter longer and the heating element is fully protected inside the bottom of the kettle itself so I don't mind the small things it doesn't have.

Would buy again, recommend.

Good working condition, however we need to watchout not to touch the kettle from anywhere else but the handle while water is hot.

Great upgrade from the standard choices of plastic kettles. The model I received didn't have the 'won't boil dry' asset stated in description, but it does auto shut off, so it's fine.

Good quality

It boils the water and turns off when done boiling but it is a little loud while boiling and seems to take a long time to reach boiling.  Because it is stainless steel the outside of the kettle is quite hot after boiling.

Works but is Loud

slow boiling compared to other kettles...I will be exchanging. Also a blue LED light would be nice, but that's cosmetic. I am not keen on the stainless steel, even if it is trending. It shows every little fingerprint and smudge - constantly wiping down. It's a busy life as it is...sorry TRU1 not the best review

Not the Kettle for the Fast Coffee before Work

Purchased in September. Switch to turn it on stopped working in December. Lasted less then 3 months.

I purchased this unit few days ago, and used it 3 times so far and a mold shape is been buildint up at the bottom of it, I am returning it.
