I got these for my son to use with his Xbox controller.  It works great!  He loves it.  It's lightweight but has big sound!!!! Comfortable %26 fits small %26 large heads!

Purchased two of these headphones for my younger kids and they fit their smaller heads nicely. I love that the microphone is detachable too! It makes for easy storing. The sound quality is just as good as the higher gaming quality from this same manufacturer. Well worth the price!

Great price, great product

I love these headphones, I especially love that they are green and black, I like to call them my Minecraft headphones. (I love the game Minecraft) it has great audio quality and the mic is awesome! I highly recommend, even though the price feels like it should be about like $20. when I am listening to music the bass is decent. it is awesome for gamers like me. it's comfort is great and sometimes I can easily become immersed with it's ease of use.

Perfect Headphones for me!

At first, I was angry because the sound was very low. You have to make sure the AV jack is pushed all the way into the controller because mine obviously was not. I had to use a little bit of force to get it right. The volume is fine, however, I wish it was a little louder. The headset itself fits comfortably and is compatible with my Xbox Series X. Overall, good value for your money.

I'm very impressed with this wired gaming headset. The sound quality is clear and immersive, making it easy to hear in-game details like footsteps, dialogue, and background effects. The microphone picks up my voice clearly without much background noise, which is great for team communication.

The headset is comfortable to wear for long gaming sessions thanks to the soft ear cushions and adjustable headband. I also appreciate that the wired connection provides a reliable, lag-free experience without worrying about battery life.

Overall, this headset offers excellent performance, comfort, and value for the price. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable gaming headset.

For the price, it's good. But are they the best? For this pricepoint, probably, but in general there are OBVIOUSLY better ones out there, but you have to pay at least triple the cost to get only double the quality. So all in all, I think these are more worth buying, unless you are some gamer/streamer that takes their stuff super serious.

Great for the price!

This model (Recon 50 wired) is a great, first time, headset for kids, but being a long time Turtle Beach headset wearer, one thing is for certain; 

If you spend a little bit more money, you will get a better quality headset, as long as you graduate your headset, (from Turtle Beach), and time proves the hearing level that you will receive will be so amazing with the FP shooter games as well as the other awesome games that the younger generation are playing today. 

You can get the right headset by keeping up with the newest models (separated by only the wireless models and the wired models). 

I do own the wired model (Recon 50), but I would love to have the most current wireless headset by 
Turtle Beach. 

I have two friends that have a wireless headset by Turtle Beach. I don't know which model (s) they have, but what they DO have, they swear by them. 

I will out their model(s) and I will tell you in my next review. I'm going right to the top and when I can afford it, I will tell you all. 

Remember, Valentine's Day is quickly approaching, so I'm sure your significant other will love an awesome headset as a gift,  (perhaps a wireless headset AND a wired one), both types from Turtle Beach. Hint, hint, honey..lol… 

Oh, btw, I'm pretty sure the wireless model can be used on different gaming platforms AND has Bluetooth capabilities, but I'm not 100% positive, 
You may want to check on that. 

Now, the wired Turtle Beach headset has a 3.5 mm jack, compatible with most gaming platforms.

I got these for my son - and tried them out myself.  On a smaller head it seems as though they don't fit quite so well, and he mentioned that since the passing isn't as firm or tight as it could be the sound isn't great.  So, kind of a mixed review. For a perfectionist looking for solid isolated sound, maybe not so great, but for more casual use, they are a decent choice

Good headset, maybe not best for serious gaming

It was a fantastic deal, got them super cheap and i figured it would be a great product sense it's such a known good brand. But after a few days of using it and it going really well the microphone stopped working. The headphone part itself works and continues working but it's very disappointing since the entire reason of the headset is to be able to communicate with other people while using them. Again very upset and frustrated with this hope other people don't have the same experience i did.

Not a good experience.
