This is the second season I have bought this product..... I LOVE IT. It is a cleaner, wax, scratch remover and a bottle that "sets" it.

You have to go over the car 4 times BUT IT IS WORTH THE EFFORT. It will look like it is right out of the showroom.

UTube has several VERY good & informative videos on how to do this and what it will look like.

I watched the videos first. YOU SHOULD too.

Yes, you will need some "elbow greace" but I am 5'2" and weigh 90lbs so if I can do it so can you!!\

I also live in upstate NY so I get all the really horrible for cars weather, salt, dings, chips wih all the construction and THE BLACK BOX DOES IT ALL!!!!

BECAREFUL....everything hands, clothing, rags everything will turn black........wear rubber gloves, I used my medical surgical gloves............2 at a time and I used old, soft socks for the final buffing.

They do not include enough clothes..........you go through them fast.

An old soft robe, t-shirts, old, soft socks, Have plenty on hand and you WILL have to throw them all out......everything turns black.................buy this product!!!!

Recently I purchased your black box product, I own a black 1995 pontiac firebird formula which I bought new and I take great pride in. My car looked pretty good especially for being 16 years old, after waxing my car with your black box wax system I was blown away, my car looked like it was almost brand new! I am a 64 year old woman who washes and waxes my own vehicle. I own a 2002 black Honda Accord. I've used many other products (including the expensive ones) over the years, maintaining my car. I've always been disappointed in the results. I recently purchased Turtle Wax Jet Black and cannot believe how amazing my car looks! This is absolutely the finest product I have ever used. It's been well over a year since I had the time and opportunity to wax my car, so it was looking pretty sad. Today, it looks brand new!! When I came out from work and saw my Honda in the parking lot, it actually gleamed! I have never been so happy with the way my car looks. This is a great product and I highly recommend it.

Love this product!

We own a black 2010 Camaro SS and this product is exactly what we were looking for!  It took swirl marks out of the paint and gave it that just off the showroom floor gleam again. I'm more than happy with the results!  I wish it was available in more colors as a complete kit because we have a green Dodge RAM and a red Chevy HHR that we'd love to do too.  I just hate that ivory/white wax that you miss between seams and near plastic trims on deep colored cars. This is good stuff!  (do wear gloves though...even though I'm not sensitive to the wax, it's VERY difficult to get off your hands)

Fantastic shine!

I can't speak of what this wax will do to a car that has a finish that hasn't been properly maintained. Yet if you wax your car twice a year with regular wax and it's now starting to get long in the tooth (5 years/75,000 miles) and you want something to make it look like the day it left the factory.... This product will make it look even better. You need to follow the directions exactly and input way more elbow grease than most lazier waxes on the market. Most of them say they can shine your car in 15 minutes, but really take an hour to be done correctly. In comparison, this product actually says it's gonna take 3 hours plus right on the package. So you need to multiply that estimate out to real world time. If you expect to spend an hour and have your neglected junkyard finish restored, don't even bother with this product. If you love your car enough to have maintained its finish and want to invest some time making your black car gorgeous, you can't go wrong. Similar products for black finishes on the net go for $50 to $150 a kit, this does the same thing they do. All it takes is hard work.

It Gonna Take Lots of Work but You'll Love It!

I used turtle wax black box for the first time today with no complaints. I've had my 2012 Jeep Liberty for a year now without waxing it once. I finally decided to because I couldn't see the spakles of the shimmer in the paint anymore no matter how often or good I washed it. I'd heard good things about this product so I figured I'd give it a go. I am very impressed! I can see all the shimmer in the paint again! It looks just like it did when I first got it and I love it!! The black box is pretty amazing and its not a total hassel to use. I will definitely continue to use this in the future although I can't say that'll be often since it is quite time consuming. I will be recommending this to everyone I know witg a black car!!

Awesome product!

I've been waxing cars regularly for the last 53 years.  Nothing I have ever used even approaches what Black Box can do.  The first time I used it I was actually able to read the manufacturer's name on a mirror image reflection of a light bulb hanging over the hood.I finished a second application today, having decided to use black detailer with every washing over the last couple of months since the first time I used Black Box.  Not only could I read the manufacturer's name ... I could read the wattage in the small circle of words surrounging the manufacturer's name.I don't think it gets much better than this...

Turtle Wax Car Care Expert

I bought a 12 year old black car that had seen a lot of sun, hadn't been washed in awhile and appeared faded and dull, perhaps slight oxidation? I clay barred the car and then used the 'black box' kit. I was happy with the product and results; the paint regained its luster and looks great.  The only drawback is that the 'black box' step 2 wax is difficult to remove and even with the spray detailer, it takes a couple passes to get it all off.  If you use some elbow grease and have the patience, the results are pretty dang good.  Overall I would suggest this product for people who have paint that is a little dull and needs revitalization.  I attached before and after photos.

Honest review

Bought a new black car last year after not having one for a long time and forgot how much it is to keep clean. Bought the Jet Black, Black Box Finish Kit to test it out. Worked great. But this is not a beginner's product or for those that want a quick wax job. It is a 2-step process and takes time so be sure to set at least 2 hours aside for the complete clean and wax process (not including the time for the actual car wash itself!).

Also, it does have black tint in the products so your rags WILL turn black. Just be sure to wash by themselves and not with clothes. Keep these rags as the ones for this product. I wear vinyl gloves when using this product to keep my hands from turning black.

Combine it with the Jet Black Tire Cleaner and Tire Coat for your tires. It is a liquid product with sponge applicator so will last longer than a typical tire black spray (and you will need the vinyl gloves that come with this kit for sure). A great looking car needs black tires!

Great Shine, But Takes Work

I usted this product a month ago and it has ruined my car.   I own a black Is250 lexus that did have any scratches but wanted it to shine again.  I follwed directions and applied a few times oñly to have alot more work buffing down cuz its so thick that the surface was raised.   Now after buffing abd buffing my car has nooooo shine and looks like you can see every place it was applied.. Will add pictures in a bit... DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT.
