Good purchase, after watching videos online I decided to purchase the tymo ring for my type 4c hair. It is easy to use and pickup was smooth. 
I find that sometimes the ends of my hair are harder to smooth in one pass since there is no clamp like a flat iron but going over the ends slowly work.

Good tool to have

I have very thick hair and cannot be bothered to straighten it cuz it takes forever. This made straightening my hair easy and fast!! My hair still had body so I would say it doesn't get as straight as a flat iron will so but it's straight and does the job!!

So glad I purchased this!  It works unbelievably well on my shoulder length, fine hair, which after drying is crazy frizzy before straightening.  Absolutely the best appliance out there for the price.

Omg Ladies!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sure I was going to get scammed buying something from Facebook but holy moly, this works just like the ads show! I have frizzy, coarse hair that takes forever to blow dry with a round brush for sleek straight hair. With this I can let my hair air dry overnight and one pass through with this in the morning it looks like I did the whole process.

Works as advertised

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It does straighten but since my hair is shorter and in a grow out phase I was hoping I could just straighten the frizzies by just brushing/combing my hair with it. But this requires you to hold the end of your hair which is fine for long hair but harder for my length. I plan on continuing to grow it out so eventually it will be easier. For now I can  use it.

Not great for shorter hair

If you're someone who wants to have tension and be able to control the tool you're using then this isn't for you. If you have very coarse think hair it may work for you but personally I have wavy fairly thick hair and the tool didn't work well for me. I couldn't seem to get each section to be even especially the areas with layers.
