You may have to take five cards, but you only need to know two rules to earn the lowest score. Secretly pick a card from your hand, then play it on one of four rows. Here are the two rules: Your card must be higher than the last card in a row, and it has to be played next to the last card that’s closest in number. If you play the sixth card in a row, you take that row...and all the points in it. That’s when the game earns its name: you’ll take five cards, and you’ll wince as you take cards worth five points.

A fun game which is easy to learn %26 easy to play. Games take between 20-30 minutes to complete.  Almost any age can play as long as they know their numbers.  Can also easily be played with non-English speakers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to learn and play, great for parties. Since being introduced to this game a few years back, I've purchased it twice, once for myself and once as a gift. The cards are good quality and the instructions are easy to understand and there is even a bonus game included.

Super fun and addictive

I loved this game since I first played it in Europe. After moving to the US this was the first game I purchased. 
The rules of the Take 5 are very simple and everyone learns them very quickly. It's so much fun. The game goes pretty fast and you can play it anywhere. It's especially fun if you are a little tipsy because you'll lose some attention which enhances the laughter.
It's fun for all age categories - from the time kids can do a simple match until the elders who can still see the number on the cards.
I would recommend this for 4  players. We usually play in 4 but I think in 5-6 it's even more fun. 
We haven't tried the Take a Number, yet, but I believe it will be also fun. Especially if you have less players.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Take 5 is an addictive, easy to learn card game that is fast to play and mixes luck and strategy.  Super fun game.   We've not yet played the more advanced Take A Number game that Santa left.

It is an easy to learn quick game for the family and tabletop gamers. plays great at multiple player counts.

this is a fun game, our family likes it.  it is easy to learn without a bunch of rules  you have to read.

Great game!

When I played this game with a group, it was a lot of fun.  When you play with two people, it's blah.  The graphics could be better as well.  Otherwise, it's a solid game. I won't get it out on the table unless I have 4  people.

A good game need 4  to enjoy
