[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wanting the Pix for quite a while now and I finally decided to bite the bullet and order the color I really wanted despite the price tag. While I wish it was cheaper of course that does not take away from the fun I have had with the Pix since I received it. The Pix came packaged nicely. It is brand new, unopened. Beautiful color as well. The touch buttons respond well for the most part. As with any touch sensor sometimes it misses an input or mistakes it for a different input occasionally. But overall it has not ruined any game play really. The camera quality is not amazing as to be expected honestly. I would recommend this Tamagotchi and also this seller for anyone wanting the Pix. I am happy being able to add the Pix to my Tamagotchi collection.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm sure you're wondering why the low rating. The functionality of the Tamagotchi is top-notch and better entertainment than I had when I took care of my own little pet in the 90s the major flaw and drawback is the inability to plug it into charge in order to charge the Tamagotchi you must remove the battery cover with a mini screwdriver and recharge the batteries every 2 to 3 days. If your kids are not old enough to do this on their own then you're in trouble. Hopefully a newer version will see a better way, but for now this is a two star toy just because of the battery issue.

Pro tip: invest in our rechargeable battery pack and show your kids how to get handy with a screwdriver. Good luck!

Better charging capabilities needed

Like tiny screws and replacing batteries literally every single day?  This product is for you! You'd think just about everything these days comes with a rechargeable internal battery; WRONG! This takes two AAA batteries and if your kid actually plays with this thing, those batteries will last just about a day, maybe two if you're lucky.  And to replace them requires a tiny screwdriver and a good bit of patience, because if you have grownup hands there's a good chance you'll break the thing.  Good luck and enjoy replacing batteries every day!

No internal battery and batteries drain daily.

The buttons don't work, can't play any games on it because the buttons will randomly click on its own.
