The 35-150mm F2-2.8 is ideal for both travel and portrait photography. It is the first zoom lens for Sony E-Mount full-frame mirrorless cameras to have a maximum wide-open aperture of F2. Travel photographers can easily take beautiful sunrise and sunset shots, distinctive interior/exterior buildings, as well as twilight and nightscape photos. Portrait photographers can shoot wide to telephoto coverage during an event or portrait shoot without switching lenses, all while enjoying the soft background bokeh desired by portrait and wedding professionals. The VXD linear autofocus motor provides a very high-speed and high-precision AF for a fast aperture lens. This lens supports the full array of frequently used angles-of-view, making it easy to compose the perfect shot without changing your position from the subject. With outstanding optical performance throughout the range and more features like the new Tamron Lens Utility? custom function capability, the lens is an ideal one for enthusiast and professional still and video image-makers.

This lens is great, probably one of the best zoom lenses ever made in terms of the combination of quality, versatility, and value. The seller (6ave) is also recommended for having this lens at a discount. The lens I got was a non-US grey market copy, which means that it is not covered by Tamron's warranty, but that doesn't bother me at all since the lens is great; it is excellent with very sharp images (and was also new, as far as I can tell).

Since purchasing this lens it has stayed on my camera.  The range and clarity is amazing and it is suited for a wide variety of situations.  The price was the lowest I had seen for this lens anywhere on the internet.  It was shipped immediately and arrived in a couple of days.  I am extremely happy with my purchase and highly recommend this product.
