My new Essential for laptop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using Targus USB port hub for few weeks now. I received it complimentary from TryIt sampling. It works great, free space and tangled cords from my workstation. 
I would recommend to anyone who has need for multiple usb outlets at the same time

Great USB port hub

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed these extra ports for to add more storage for my streaming. I can now use this to add more content and computer monitors to build up my computer desk for my life streams. It keeps all the cords to a minimum in one space.

Extra storage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My laptop doesn't have a lot of USB ports and I needed extra for my flash drives, wireless mouse, and wireless keyboard. I also use my laptop to charge things like my phone. This port hub was easy to plug right into my laptop so I could have extra ports to be as efficient as possible. I also like that it is portable and lightweight to throw in my laptop bag and go. I would highly recommend this hub if you need more ports.

Easy to use

Ports too close for most flash drives out there. The 3 ports on the side are too close to fit 3 drives in place, can only use 2 drives.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought it would have also connection for power etc, but I guess it was my mistake. Check well what you need before ordering. This is a simple usb extender. Cable is ver short as well. Not recommended at all

It's ok

Issues encountered:
External hard drive not being recognized
Flash-drive disconnects
Bluetooth headset disconnects often as anything else.

Verdict?
Steer clear. Buy another targus product that isn't in-effective, or try another brand.
It would get a higher rating, but it's impossible to give a broken product anything more than the bare minimum to post a review.

Issues right out the box

I bought the usb 3, 4-port Targus ACH154 a year ago.  It never recognized any of my external HDD, no matter what brand or what size.  It connected to my keyboard and mouse, but was unreliable, sometimes causing keys to run continuously when typingggggggg.  Do not buy this garbage, ever, ever, ever.  I am keeping mine around in a box so that I will never forget what brand not to buy (otherwise I would throw it completely away).
