I love my laptop; I've had it for years and it hasn't missed a beat. There was one problem, however: for the last 18 months or so, something wtihin the power cable or power port failed, and like a janky set of headphones you have to crimp and tape to hear in both ears, I was stuck having to wrap my power cord around my computer to hold it in such a way that my  battery would charge. 

Not anymore! I saw this cable for sale at my local Wally World and figured I'd try it for the heck of it. After all, if it didn't work (like I assumed), I could easily bring it back with no questions asked. 

Imagine my surprise when it worked! No funky repositioning of the cord necessary--my battery is charging and my laptop is powered every time, all the time, when I'm using this cable. If you're having "power cord issues" with your laptop and your power adapter plug looks like one of the ones in the package, give this a shot before giving up hope on your old laptop.

The charger is not only universal, but it is portable, as well. It comes with five interchangeable power tips, so I'm easily able to use it with my Dell, Acer, and HP. Due to the pandemic, I'm always using two laptops at once, so this has truly been a lifesaver. My laptops charge incredibly quickly and I don't have to recharge them until I've used them for at least one full day. The 90W battery is the best I've tried thus far. It is the perfect size to throw in your bag, whether you're going to the office, traveling, or attending a meeting. Additionally, this Targus Universal Laptop Charger comes with a two year warranty! I highly recommend this; five stars!!

The Sleek and Slender Supercharger

I keep this handy laptop charger nearby at all times. If I can't find the correct chargers in a few seconds I just pull this bad boy out and no longer stress about looking for the correct charger. I thought I lost this laptop and all my information and pictures from over the years but I am glad to say that one of the pieces fit and i am back in!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Targus Universal Laptop Charger is wonderful. With four of us in our family each having a different brand of laptop, the charger comes in quite handy in the family room. It makes it Super convenient if one of us needs to power up a dying laptop instead of running find our charger and bring it and plug it in. The tips are easy to change yet secure enough it will not slip out while in use. We have the charger and all of its pieces stored in the coffee table. The design feels to be of great quality. The cords are well coated so it does not feel like they are going to break or disconnect  from charging unit. To my greatest surprise it even fits my Samsung laptop I haven't used in years  because it had an issue every charger I tried.  I also like that if it doesn't have the tip you are looking for you can contact customer support and they will help you find the Tip you need.

Perfect fit

I needed this because my old cord for my laptop had died.  Pros: The changeable heads make it fit just about any computer it can unplug from itself making 2 pieces of cord. Cons: the part of the cord that plugs into the wall was not inspected, the prongs are too close for it to fit into the outlet, luckily, my previous cord was the same type and only broken at the computer connection so I used the old one for that part. The part that connects into the computer is not as snug as the old cord, so I keep having to check it so it doesn't come unplugged. FAR TO EXPENSIVE for such shoddy workmanship.  Would have been useless if I didn't have a piece of cord that worked in place of the junk they sent.
