I'm amazed how great this bag is. I got the 17" backpack for my 15.6" laptop because I also keep it in a thick sleeve; it fits perfectly. There are a ton of pockets and holders, and a good amount of space inside. (If you have super thick books, I don't think this pack will work for you.) I love the thick, meshed padding on the straps and back. I have a 32oz nalgene water bottle, and the bottle holder stretches to accommodate it. I love this bag!

This is my second Targus backpack. My first one was purchased in 2013 and I used it until it completely fell apart. It saw me through my first go round of college, travel, moving multiple times, and my first corporate job in 2024. I knew when it came time to buy another bag I would get a Targus. Unfortunately, I didn't. I settled for another brand, and it broke within 5 months and then they couldn't honor their warranty, a mistake that won't happen again! I knew I wanted this one as I love green (most gaming laptop backpacks are all red accents) and I have a massive personal gaming laptop (MSI GE76 Raider). I've been using this backpack solid for a month for work and I'm so happy. Feels great, it almost has too much storage and organization! It does fit the gaming laptop mentioned, but I will add that it is a 17" with another inch of just stuff in the back, so around an inch or so it does not get zipped over. That is NOT the backpack's issue and I don't mind as I baby my tech regardless. It washed well in the washer and dryer. It's comfy on my back. My work laptop is a 14", but it feels safe having the extra space. I do hope this lasts me another 11 years! 

**I did purchase this one gently used off of Poshmark, if you don't want to do that, I do feel that the full price is worth it.

Comfy, Lots of Room, Great Features!

Targus

I wanted to replace my Targus computer travel backpack I've had for 18 years and travelled 3 continents with.  Thee is nothing wrong with it, still in great shape. It was just time to modernize. 18 years...I knew Targus was the only brand I would get. I just got back from a trip to Europe with it and was impressed by how much lighter it is than my old bag but still holds as much. I'm very happy with it.

I have used this Targus backpack almost every day for 6 years in and out of pickup and airplanes and it's in great shape. A few battle scars but every zipper works and every strap is intact. Great backpack!

Tough and Comfortable

I love my Targus bag. I use it everyday rain or shine (I have a small umbrella inside it for rainy days).  There is a great pocket for my oversized laptop which I use daily for my commute. There is a smaller pocket on the front which I use for my wallet and quick access stuff (including pens and tools).  The carrying straps are very comfortable and easily adjusted.  I use the other large pockets for a variety of items. My lunch is a pretty standard item but I have used them for extra clothing including a pair of shoes once in awhile.  I like clipping my car keys to one of the straps on the bag when I am work.     My compute is primarily in my car but when I ride my bike, my Targus bag easily makes the 12 mile ride with me.  Overall I am a very satisfied owner of my Targus bag.  Pretty confident you would be happy if you had one.

This is the best travel laptop backpack I've ever used. I have a lot but this is the best especially if you travel a lot.

Great bag (just bought my second one)

Great backpack for business travel.  The pockets fit everything laptop, tablet, headphones, etc.  Comfortable wear and easy to get in the overheads.

Great Business Travel Bsckpack

The body design is neatly sewn and the bag itself is sturdy. But the thickness of foam to the actual backpack that hangs to the shoulder down to the waist has gone down in quality compared to the previous bags that I had.
