I recently bought a 4 pack of the tarp clips. Of which 3 work, and work great. The fourth doesn't work at all, the little teeth don't catch even slightly. They are rather difficult to install snug enough to stay in place, a pliers or similar is needed to squeeze them tightly.

I bought 5 Tarp Clips last fall as repair s to a tarp that covers my tractor over the winter. The clips held great, even during a heaver snow storm. The tarp however tore at each clip so I tried to reset the clips and continue to use the same tarp. Two of the clips broke while trying to release the grips. two more broke while I tried to reset the jaws. It seems that you need to modify the polymer you use to make them cold hardy.

first time I tried using them they were hard to engage tightly and released before I was evn done installing them all

Bought for clips to use on tarps, center clip won't stay secured.... tarp slips out..... threw them away

Bought four clips

Went out to secure tarp over utility trailer pre-storm.  No diagrams on how to even open the jaws!  Could not use.  Wasted time and money!

Froze my hands

I had to use pliers to clip these onto a double layer of tarp.
