Favorite matte foundations I own. Have been wearing it for 3 years and nothing else compares to it. Love the texture and feel of it. Not to drying or wet. I don't have oily or pore appearing skin, so with some sticky primer, this looks flawless on. Color matched it store and it looks amazing on me.

Lately I found myself using concealer on more and more areas of my face and decided to try this full coverage foundation. It does a great job of covering my problem areas without looking too mask like. I only use concealer under my eyes when I use the foundation. I purchased the foundation and brush combo. The brush does its job for blending.

Amazonian clay

Please never stop making this. The BEST foundation. I never write reviews but this product deserves it. I initially bought the shape tape foundation as the reviews were much better, but following advice from the Tarte email contact I purchased this also. This is by far my favourite. Natural looking for no make up days but also coveres redness and imperfections better than thing. It stays in place during swimming and showering unless cleanser is used. Highly recommend

The BEST foundation

My favorite foundation for the past several years… I don't even bother trying others as I know this one works for me. I have acne prone skin that can be difficult to cover, but the coverage with this (plus some concealer) is perfect. The buffing brush also really helps to get the flawless look.

Great coverage

Hi. . I have been an Estee Lauder foundation lady for 20+ years, until I tried this foundation. Wow!! I'll not buy anything else. I found the best for me !!

Great Foundation!!

The Amazonian 16-hour Foundation has been reformulated. It's terrible; it has way less coverage, and breaks up after about 3 hours. I compared the new tube to my old tube- Old Tube had the word clay and cursive writing, the new one has that word in basic print. I am beyond disappointed, and haven't been able to find a hack or a replacement Foundation. Please bring back the old formula, tarte!!! 😭

Not the same

In store the shade match looked perfect. The shade was identical and perfectly true neutral. However, after wearing it for a bit, it oxidizes much more orange and dark. I use shade 12N and have not had issues with the Shape Tape Concealer but this foundation ends up looking so cakey and mismatched after drying down.
