I used  the thermometer today while baking bread. I cannot believe that my oven is off by 50 degrees (too cool). I purchased the thermometer since I had concerns about oven temp.  I set my oven to 500 degrees to get a temperature of 450.

Is my GE oven really off by 50 degrees?

As much as I bake, I can't take a chance on my ovens not being the right temperature!  These are exactly what I needed! Easy to read and give me one less thing to worry about!

Affordable and accurate!

If you are someone who uses your oven a lot this is a must have. Especially if you bake! I was burning things and couldn't understand why. Then I got this and my oven was off by 25 degrees. Now I haven't burnt a thing. It works great

A GREAT OVEN THERMOMETER!

Just moved into this house and with all new appliances we didn't know if the oven thermometer was correct. Bought this thermometer to double check. Worked great and the oven thermometer was correct.  Good buy, now the wife has excuses.  Also works good for the Bar-B-Que...

I don't have to worry about my frig or freezer, i always know the temperature

After moving to our apartment, I baked a cake at 325° and it burnt in 10 minutes. Got this and at 200° setting on my stove, the thermometer read 450°!  
I'll never trust an oven again without using this thermometer. Needless to say, it is what I use every time I bake, which is often.

Saved My Cakes

I can't see the dial through my oven window — and opening the door affects the temp. I'm also not confident in its accuracy, but no way to tell that…

It's fine for the price

Good price, a little thinner material than my old one, but still priced well.

Reasonable price, satisfied with quality

Product received was not as pictured.  When deciding on what thermometer to order, I liked the fact that it showed the higher temperatures in red and low temperatures in shades of blue.  I thought that would make it easier to read.  What I received just had one white background.  Very disappointed. 
Also beware of shipping charges.  While Walmart showed $0 due to the overall size of the order, because this ships from an outside vendor, there was a separate shipping charge that I didnt catch before ordering.   If I had known both of these things I would have just gone to a hardware store to buy one.

Not as pictured or described

I picked this one especially since it had different coloring such as red or blue in different heat areas. I figured this would be much easier to see through my not so clear glass in the oven. What came however, was just your basic black print no color on it.  So for me its still hard to see.
