This timer has lots of great features! It has a magnet on the back so it can be placed on the refrigerator or other magnetic area. It also has a clip so you can attach it to a variety of things - including clipping it to yourself!  This was if you leave the room (even go outside), you will still be able to keep track of what you are timing and hear the beep wherever you are (which might not be in the kitchen)!  Also takes AAA battery - not those expensive button batteries!

The numbers are big and it is easy to operate. I like having back and forth operation i.e. counting down to an alarm or up i.e. elapsed time. With two my wife can time her dishes and I can time mine.

Time is on my side.

It works just fine.  My only complaint is that the cover that goes over the battery is very very lightly attached, so we had to put a piece of scotch tape over it.  Other than that it works really well.  We use it as a timer to time my kids when they're brushing their teeth and it's really easy and simple for them to work and reset!

it functions

Price is right. Very easy to operate. Magnet works good. Beep signal could be a little louder, though it doesn't shut off until you shut it off. Would purchase it again if needed.

GREAT TIMER

Easy enough to set in either seconds or minutes. Counts to 99 minutes 59 seconds.
Only has 1 set of beeps, no reminder beeps in another minute (or so).
If you let it finish beeping than it will reset to the previous set time NOT zero out.
Counts up while setting it. Counts down when running. Since there is no reset, if you miss your mark then you'll need to go through the entire 98 minutes/58 seconds to reach the correct setting.
Wish it had an On/Off button since this is not also a clock.
Reset/Start button would be much more helpful.
No illumination.
Since magnet is mounted to the clip it is not stable enough to depress the buttons w/o it detaching from where it is mounted.
Small and lightweight enough to carry with you or clip to your clothing w/o it pulling.
I can hear it from the next room with the TV on low, which is where I listen to it. Cannot hear it from the bedroom, like I could my last one.

No Reset

The timer doesn't have a battery or the battery is dead.  I hope I can get a battery at Ace Hardware.

Otherwise, I have the same kind of timer and it works well.

Well made like other TAYLOR products I have purchased.  Easy to set timer function.  However, the sound is too soft to hear 20 feet away.  The magnet does not hold this heavy timer.

Too Quiet.

The gray plastic face came off immediately (very cheaply glued) and when its magnetic hold is being used, when you push the buttons, it forces the timer itself to tilt and fall off of the surface.
