<p data-start="190" data-end="678">The Light Armored Vehicle (LAV-25) gave the U.S. Marine Corps a fast and highly mobile reconnaissance platform that could fight as well as scout. Equipped with a powerful 25mm M242 Bushmaster autocannon, supported by machine guns and advanced optics, the LAV could engage enemy infantry, light vehicles, and even threaten heavier armour when used in numbers. In <em data-start="552" data-end="580">World War III: Team Yankee</em>, the LAV Platoon brings speed, flexibility, and dependable firepower to U.S. Marine commanders.</p>
<p data-start="680" data-end="1240"><strong data-start="680" data-end="704">Gameplay Experience:</strong><br data-start="704" data-end="707">On the tabletop, the LAV Platoon excels at maneuver warfare. Its wheeled chassis allows for rapid redeployment across the battlefield, while its autocannon can shred enemy infantry and lightly armoured vehicles. Armed with TOW missiles in some variants, it also provides potent anti-tank capability. Though not as heavily armoured as an Abrams, the LAV&rsquo;s combination of speed, versatility, and reliable firepower makes it a cost-effective unit for striking where the enemy is weakest and holding ground until reinforcements arrive.</p>

Amphibious, air-transportable, and highly adaptable, the LAV became a hallmark of Marine mobility doctrine. It provided both scouting capabilities and frontline firepower, allowing Marine units to outmaneuver and outfight heavier forces through speed and combined-arms tactics.</p>
