<p data-start="203" data-end="702">The <strong data-start="207" data-end="220">Marder II</strong> infantry fighting vehicle was a late-Cold War upgrade of West Germany&rsquo;s original Marder, designed to improve the mobility, firepower, and survivability of Panzergrenadier units. Armed with a 20mm autocannon and anti-tank missile launcher, the Marder II allowed German mechanized infantry to keep pace with Leopard tanks while holding their own against Warsaw Pact armour. In Team Yankee, a Marder II Zug provides your Bundeswehr force with a tough and versatile transport option.</p>

Equipped with MILAN anti-tank guided missiles, it gave Panzergrenadiers the firepower to take on enemy tanks while remaining a capable troop transport. Its combination of armour and weapons made it one of NATO&rsquo;s most effective IFVs of the Cold War era.</p>
<p data-start="1360" data-end="1646"><strong data-start="1360" data-end="1381">About the Models:</strong><br data-start="1381" data-end="1384">The Team Yankee Marder II kit recreates this improved German IFV in 15mm scale with crisp details and accurate proportions.
