[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A almost complete Shortwave radio (only missing Air Band) that's fairly simple to use once you get use to it.   I have already listened to stations based out of France from the United States.  SSB is also interesting to play.  If you're looking at getting into Shortwave I highly recommend this radio.

Great Shortwave Radio

Well, Walmart has done it again. I would usually go directly to Amazon and assume it's the best I could do. Recently I've given Walmart a chance on several different purchases and they've delivered. They beat Amazon's price, delivery was as fast or faster than Amazon and their web site was very easy to navigate. The product a (Tecsun PL880SLV AM/FM/SW radio) was delivered in perfect condition and I'm completely pleased with this purchase. I'd recommend giving Walmart a try to satisfy your purchasing needs and if your in the market for a great little radio give the Tecsun PL880 a try.

Best radio

Good radio with side band. The stock antena  has great reception in my remote area for am fm bands and the external one is good for the sw band. The overall quality is good, i would recomend this brand to someone looking for a sw radio.

Although this is a high level radio receiver with SW, it is poor to receive SW radio stations broadcasting  in this country (West coast).

The radio didn't work very good for the price, and it tended to tip over while connecting wires or accessing the switches. Walmart was very understanding.
