I'm old.  I'm out of shape.  I have a new hip replacement.  After just one month I can make this Free Step fly!  Physical therapy had one very similar and I had trouble going for 15 minutes.  I just broke one full hour today.  I'm so much stronger and no limping anymore!  I live this machine!

We've had our FreeStep for a month. Putting it together was not bad, but you have to pay attention. We were surprised at how little space it takes, especially compared to a full elliptical. We love using it and can't believe how quiet it is. It is very well designed. It's especially good for my wife who has weak knees and is recovering from blood clots.

Wonderful to use

I am so glad I bought the FreeStep.  It's everything I hoped it would be.  Most importantly my husband is able to use it -- and does.  Due to the progression of his disease which has resulted in a lack of balance and decreased strength, he was no longer able to use another piece of exercise equipment we had.  Now he is able to exercise again!  
I love using it because I can use the tablet stand to watch a PBS show and hear the dialog clearly.  My workout flies by enjoyably.
I would definitely recommend this product.

Workouts Fly By!

I'm 68 and had a knee replaced, wanted something to work my knee.
Was unsure about spending that much money on something unseen.
Glad I did. Unit and company are were thought out and easy to do business with.

freestep review

I bought this because it is a similar version of an expensive one that I used in physical therapy!  I need a good exercise workout that won’t hurt my newly fused spine.  This one turned out to be fantastic!  It is a smooth ride, but I can adjust the difficulty.  It is so quiet that I can use it anytime, and not disturb others.  I just got it a week ago, but with only using it 15 minutes a day so far, I can feel it already tightening my muscles.  I love this!  Oh, and my husband and my son in law did not have any difficulty putting it together for me.

An amazing workout machine!

I am a young person with a movement disorder called Dystonia which causes abnormal movements and affects my legs causing difficulty walking. Ellipticals, treadmills, and other machines are hard for me to use but the Teeter FreeStep is different. It uses a stepping motion instead of a cyclical motion and allows me to get in a great workout to keep the strength and movement in my legs.

We've been a Teeter Hangup customer for nearly 20 years when I first encountered spinal issues and the Teeter Hangup has been very effective for me.  We had an elliptical trainer that consumed a lot of space and needed something smaller but effective.  We saw an ad for the FreeStep and thought with the success of the Hangup, decided to buy one.  Very glad we did!  My wife & I use this every day, multiple times a day and its very simple to switch between size settings.

Needed something compact but effective

My wife is a cancer patient and I have MS. The machine exceeded our expectaions.

Walking motion instead of up and down
Upper and lower workout in one
The Teeter is doing what we need to get our endurance back and to maintain it once we hit our goals.
A lot of thought went into the design and operation of this machine and it shows.

We made a Great choice.

I really like your FreeStep but I feel like it needs three possible changes or upgrades. 1) The seat needs to be larger and more comfortable especially for older people and people with Tailbone issues. 2) It should be two or three inches wider, the left arm assembly tends to on occasion bang against my left knee and 3) the pedals need some kind of grit covering or stick-um to keep your feet from constantly sliding down the pedal. Other than those observations I think it is an excellent product and I enjoy using it about an hour at a time. Thank You.

Good Purchase

After a long battle with lyme disease I needed something easy to use that wasn't the price of the NuStep machines.  I'm happy to find an exerciser that I can operate despite being weak, but it is difficult to get on and off.  I solved this by using an aerobic stepper as a step stool to reach the seat.  I've been using this almost daily, but I don't last long, and have been surprised at the positive results.  I will continue using the FreeStep and will recommend it to others.

Great exerciser but hard to get on and off

Been using this machine on a regular basis for the last year, and it's been a great way to get my blood flowing everything. But lately I can't seem to use it for more than a few minutes before hearing popping and grinding noises with each stride. So though the machine still operates smoothly, the "whisper quiet" feature is totally out the window.
