Not exact, but close. Enough for this small gadget. Sure they will make an improve one soon.

This device appears to work as advertised, but overall it is not useful to me for hiking and backpacking.  A simple digital temperature sensor with long battery life would be more useful.  I rarely look at it, and often when I do, the batteries are dead.
