I was very pleased with this case, it arrived safely with no broken parts. The directions were a bit tricky to find though they were tucked in a tiny box. It was unmarred and in good shape. I was able to easily and quickly assemble this with only a screwdriver, the bar and lock attachments were easy and fast to do. The case seems pretty sturdy I'm storing canned goods on it and they can be quite weighty and this is holding up fine. Empty it is light enough that I can easily move it around by myself. All in all a nice case that I am very happy with.

This arrived with lightening speed, was VERY simple to assemble. Looks great, appears to be quite sturdy, and was the least expensive of all the bookshelves I looked. I love it!

Perfect bookcase!!!

This was smaller than I thought it would be, but that's my fault for not looking at the dimensions but it actually ended up being just the right size. I put it together myself in about 30 mins. The directions are all images. I'm a 'visual' person so they were easy for me to follow. I think it's nicely made for the price and is quite sturdy.

Nice little bookshelf

When reviewing this item online, I looked at the dimensions and initially thought this might be too big for the area needed to place it in. But after assembly, it was actually smaller than I expected. I thought it would be deeper. Once I started to place books, DVD's and magazines, I found that it can hold quite a bit of items and is pretty sturdy. It also matches my bedroom set nicely.

I only gave it 4 stars because it's smaller than I thought it would be and it was also a bit pricey for the size. But because it fits into the space I had and still has ample space to fit all the things I want to put on it, I would recommend it to others.

Looks small but holds a lot

I had set a search of Walmart.com for black bookshelves when this one came up. It really isn't black but a very dark brown. Still nice and since it is in a corner, the off color isn't very apparent. Nice shelf and easy to assemble.

Love the shelf, disappointed on color

This furniture requires customization with trimming of the edges with knife, back panels won't fit in with the black insert in between, at the end, they were nailed into the back of the shelf instead of inserting into the slots like the direction. Not easy to put together, the side parts needs to be fine tuned into a perfect position before the back panels can go in, took a long time.

Not Easy to assemble

When I received the box, it looked like it had been kicked from Arkansas to NC. However, I took a chance, and sure enough, parts were broken. I did not return the item because broken parts were not obvious in the front. I love the product, but it is cheap.

Very cheap material quality

I purchased two, wish I hadn't bought them from the site. They looked black in the picture, which was what I wanted, but they're actually dark brown. They were scratched in several places and if the repacking and returning wasn't such a hassle, I would have sent them back. I wish now I had just taken them back to Walmart. I will be very, very desperate before I buy from the website again.

Cheap construction, had a bad wood stain odor

I am very disappointed with this product. The color of the shelves did not match the rest of the case. The finish was poorly done and the sealer used has a very strong odor. I left them out in the cold garage to see if it would help but the odor is still there. Headache inducing.
Aside from that, the people handling the shipping did not seem to give a care as this product was damaged when received. The corners of the shelf were damaged, and some of the other boards were scratched. The only thing they got right was the delivery date.

Not a good product

The material doesn't even live up to particle board.  When we went to put the top on the sides tore off the sides.  We are gluing and putting extra screws in.
