I used Tetra flakes back in the 1970s and they were the king back then.  I bought a small 1oz flake food because I have expensive Orandas and others, gorgeous.  I tried ten or twenty foods along with frozen foods.  The Tetra is one of my go to diets.  It is packed with nutrition and when I need to give bottom feeders a balanced vitamin rich meal, Tetra delivers.  It is packed with nutrition and it is high on the list; Hikari, Bug bites, dried shrimps, bloodworms, etc.  THE WATER CLARITY IS THE BIGGEST REASON.  When you feed fish four or five times daily, small amounts, the hogs dirty up the water, UV, cannister filters, etc.  Don't keep your EXPENSIVE fish on one food, get them what they want and aim for tank cleanliness and odors.  Tetra gets a 10-10 on water clarity and odor; very good fish food.  They have also improved much since the 1970s when I began being an  ichthyologist.

This is the fish you want.   My goldfish is a fan.  It's a hardy fish food but does not make the tank a mess.  I had other fish food that made my tank get nasty fast.    This is a good alternative for you and the fish

Got this for a replacement for my goldfish food that someone gave me a little over a year and a half ago. I ordered the exact same size, so I should be good on fish food for a long time now. It is a big container, for a cheap price, and it lasts for over a year. Will definitely order again when I start running low.

Amazing Value for the Price

I always buy the smaller bottle of this fish food, but this size is such a good price hiven the amount it has in it! So glad I purchased this one. Both my Koi and Goldfish love it. I've even tried koi specific food for the Koi, but he actually prefers this. This is thr food they've had ever since I got them and thei lr colors are bright and they are healthy

I've been using this fish for years. There was actually another tropical flavor that I was using for the set of fishes that I have and every now and then I would revert back to the goldfish, but it's been useful. There's really nothing more than negative. I think the smell of the food could be strong at times, but depending on how much you're using I use enough for each fish that's in the aquarium to get some and maybe more of course some fish get more because they're gig goes straight to the top when I pour it in the color is always vibrant. It's always been sealed. It's healthy the ingredients of it keep the goldfish last in very long and all the other goldfish that's in the family for that temperature climate in the same tank I put enough in there that's not going to the trough or leave a colored stain in your water along with the filters of course so I do recommend this product and I will continue to use it.

I have 8 small gold fish in my cold water tank at my preschool. I used to use pellets, but they were big for my fish, so many fell down. This product works well because they can bite it off while it floats. It is a good value and this size bottle will last a long time. The price is right and the shipping was free. I have not time to go to the pet store, so this so convenient! I will buy from Walmart online again!

Fish Babies Favorite:

I was not too happy when I got this fish food.  It shows colored on the container, but when it arrived it was a brown color.  I do not know if it makes a difference to my fish, but I think they could see the colored better.

I have been buying this fish flakes for the past three to four years and it was good for my fishes, few Months ago I bought the same product and noticed the color changes, my fishes eats it anyways.The last tub I bought kill all my fishes,all 20 of them, I am sad and upset, now I will have to start all over again but I will have to find another brand of food. As soon as I have the time I will be returning  it to the store, I bought it on walmart.com.
