Trying to finish my degree since my employer was not willing to work with me in 2006.  I had my old calculator; however, I could not get it to work.  Admit had been dropped.  

Note to this calculator:  If will not turn on, take the batteries out and hold the On button thirty seconds then replace batteries and calculator should turn on.  

Overall a dependable calculator for my needs.

As a beginner to the graphing calculator I am amazed by the ease of function of the TI-83. If you are not advanced with the functions of a graphing calculator I recommend that you start with the TI-83 as I have found that others are confused with the functions of the TI-84.

TI-83 Required but EXCEEDS expectations

My daughter needed this calculator and she's in the 11th grade. I've bought it online and came the next day. I was surprised how fast it was shipped to my home. And the price of it is way to low compares to other stores that sale it!!

Great for high school math

Great Machine... Walmart had the best price.
...and there are videos on youtube to learn how to do each function, that's really nice since there's pretty much no such things as direction pamphlets any more. This did have one, but it was pretty basic; on/off. That's the norm anymore though. I loved finding it at Walmart on line purchasing it and then picking it up the very same day. Nice service! Way to go Walmart!

Great calculator for my daughter who is starting highschool!

Needed for class

So far, this seems to fill the need for my daughter's Adv Trig/Pre-Calc class. Walmart's price beat everywhere else I looked

Super Calculator

Does the job!

This calculator is outdated and does not have the functionality to perform basic math calculations without expressing results in scientists notation. Spend the extra $$$$ and get the Ti-84 or better.
