Has an intuitive interface for easy operation and math functions.

Performs various math operations including fractions and exponentials.

Quality calculator with endless possibilities. For the inexpensive cost, this is such a great buy. I highly recommend this calculator and the Texas Instruments brand. IMHO, they make the best calculators on planet earth, such a fantastic company.
* With its case on, the calculator is the following dimensions: 7.2 inches long, 3.3 inches wide, .6 (6/10) inches thick. *
The included battery used for this calculator is the following:
ONE of these = CR2032 (3.0 V, 220 mAh).

Quality, excellent, reliable. 2 3 = 5 stars!

After have the calculator for 5 minutes and READING THE MANUAL about imputing conversions I figured out what the guy below did wrong. The manual says that you need to use parenthesis around the number you want to convert. I tried (-25) like he was trying to convert and got the correct answer of -13. If you don't read the manual and just type -25 then you get the wrong answer of -77. Which is what he got and declared the calculator was useless. If you learn how to use this tool then it will perform as advertised. It's the most powerful scientific calculator that Ti makes and I bought it for use in my calculus class right now because we're not allowed to use graphing calculators. This calculator does so much that Ti suggests it for algebra 1/2, geometry, stats, precalc, calc, bio, chem, physics, CS, and engineering. If you're taking any of these courses and can't use a graphing calculator on tests, quizes, etc., then this is the calculator for you.

Don't listen to the negative review below.

This is the only calculator for doing algebraic functions and simple math for taking Ham Radio certification exams. Another plus is the always charged status since it has excellent solar cells.

Have had a TI-30XS MultiView for years and went to get another one when we saw the TI-36X Pro. This calculator has all the functionality of the TI-30XS plus it can do calculus. For the few extra $$ it is worth it. And Walmart has the best price on this calculator. It was not in the store, but they sent it for free to my store for pick-up. Got to love Walmart!

Does Calculus

I own a Casio -115 ESS Plus. Compared to the Casio calculator, this TI looks very impressive. I really like the Casio, but there are more functions on the TI, your calculations are retained even when the calculator is turned off(not so with the Casio) , and there other features which make the TI a very good choice. I do not like the buttons for division multiplication, minus, and plus on the TI calculator. They are etched on chrome, and a very hard to read. However, I used a sharpie to make it more readable, and it seems to work fine. I have now started using the TI, and have put the Casio aside.

The best non-graphing calculator out there.

This is the best calculator for calc 2 and econ that is allowed at Purdue, if your guidelines are nongraphing and nonprogrammable, this is the best legal calculator that does definite derivatives and integrals, saving time on exams. I have also used it for taylor series if you do the algebra then get the derivative. It does parts, it does reverse power rule, it does like any definite integral.

Amazing for Calc 2

Great Calculator for a really good price!! The shipping was unbelievably fast - we received it within 2 days of ordering online. Exactly what we needed for my high school student's Math class. It's easy to hold and pretty easy to use, especially if you've used other Texas Instruments calculators. I highly recommend this product!

Great Calculator for a really good price!!

I love it, the catulator is work and I didn't know it had a a lid to cover. I recommend it this :>

Amazing!!!

I bought this along with the TI-30XS. It's as good as the TI-30XS for a couple of dollars more; however, it "looks" more professional as the color is black, silver, and chrome versus the cream, teal, and lime green. Purely cosmetic.

Simplifies Radicals

Extremely difficult to figure the moves needed to do fairly simple things such as save and recall. Need to use the shift button for many things and the writing above the keys is not very clear.

Mistake on my part

Texas Instruments TI-36X Pro scientific calculator in black with a two-line LCD showing an integral calculus expression and result, featuring multi-function keys for trigonometry, statistics, logarithms, and algebra, plus a navigation pad for precise input.
