This is a wonderful book for my grandson that has just begun reading. The book is written in comics form and he reads his Bible all the time. It has got him reading his regular children's Bible too.

My wife wanted to give this to a co worker/friend who became a Christian almost a year ago.  She did not turn all weird, but her good qualities became enhanced with some respected new ones. As a team leader and boss lady, she became even better at her job. Her sons are pre teen and early teens.  They'll like this, too. The illustrations are unbelievably awesome, intense, detailed, interesting, and, I'll be honest, as someone who has never read the Bible, this book is absolutely NOT only for kids. It's perfect for adults, teens, pre teens. It's not childish. The price for this is just as outstanding. Buy many to give as a gift. I'll be getting another one of these --for ME! Incredible stories. Incredible people, horrible villains,  amazing created heroes, manipulation, big egos having big falls, demons,  scheming, people who learn to be courageous by trust, people who can see through lies %26 schemes %26 heal people. Making dead people come back to life. Arams, Assyrians, Egyptians. Some 80 year old lady is so beautiful she gets taken by two different kings two different time. They learned real fast they had to return her to her husband untouched. The most pathetic cowardly men becoming fierce warriors.  How to avoid dysfunction in a family before it begins. Spies, weapons, supernatural cool stuff goin' down. This book got this guy's attention. I wanted to learn about the illustrator, too. A cool story about Sergio. I've never heard of this book before and it's been popular for a few years. Sometimes I feel like I've been under a rock. The pictures are cool. Makes a great gift -- for yourself. My wife got all excited that I like reading this book. She went and got me a NKJV Bible so after I read about it from this cool book I can read so much more about it in the NKJV and KJV Bible.  I enjoyed reading about a cool cat in the New Testament called Paul. That guy was thrown into one of those gladiator arenas, twice. Beat up and probably died but told to get up and get back out there. Ship wrecked multiple times. The man was converting the staff and household of that sociopath Nero right under Nero's nose. I think Caesar Augustus was originally Octavius who ended Cleopatra and Mark Anthony. Twenty 8 years later a certain special person is born, after the Roman Empire transition was well established and stable

Who Would Have Thunk? INCREDIBLE BOOK

My kids love it ! It allows them to hear the word , it imprints on their minds and best of all the pictures are so good ! Everyone stays engaged and even i look forward to their excitement and mine to dig into the word of god in this new way! It's been our source of bed time stories ever since we received it ! 10/10 recommend !

I love this action Bible I would not use it in place of a regular Bible, but it's been helpful to me because I have trouble reading like dyslexia and comprehension and understanding even with the help of the Holy Spirit and I like to have different references like I have a ICB Bible I have a NIrV it's a great addition. If you have trouble understanding regular Bibles, just know each version is usually at a different reading level like I am an adult and the Bibles that I have our children's Bibles, but they're at a level that I can understand so just find what works for you. You could find a chart online. I love this. Bible it's like the Bible condensed and like the word being drawn to life. I will cherish this as part of my collection ❤️

Love it!

I love the Bible and was a little hesitant to buy it in comic form.  I'm not particularly into comics, but my 8 year old friend is and was excited to receive this book as a baptism gift! It is a larger book than I had expected, about 1.5 inches thick! The few pages I read seemed to be thoughtfully written and true to the original. The text is, of course, put into more modern language. I do wish the drawings of Jesus and Mary were portrayed a bit more reverently/ respectfully, but overall I am pleased with this book! Thank you very much for making it available!

Large,  thoughtfully written comic style Bible

This was a gift for my daughter for christmas and she absolutely loved it. the bible can feel overwhelming, but my child, who's used to reading graphic novels like diary of wimpy kid found this book really easy to read. the illustration is beautiful. It follows scripture, very well. And the pictures are very pigmented and gorgeous

Gets your child reading the Bible

Not a promotion, my genuine review:
     This book is a great gift for kids. 
Anything Visual is more impactful and easy to remember. This book serves that.
Any time I ask questions about the bible to my kids they always reply' I read this in action bible ‘. I gave this book to many kids as gifts and recommend parents to buy it. It has everything covered from genesis to revelation. Thank you to whoever wrote this book and published it.

Genuine review

Loved it, I order 13 books for my sunday school class and it came in good condition.
the storys, pictures and details that went into this Action Bible is amazing. Although some of my order was delayed but the walmart team was great and really try to make it priority even though it was the holidays, im glad i got it. And I know my students will enjoy them too.

Great Action BIBLE

I got this Bible for my kids. My 8 year old has been showing interest in learning about God. It was an instant purchase for me. A lot of the other sites were selling this for the marked price of 33 dollars. Got it for only $14 with Walmart. The quality is amazing. The vibrant colorful pages. Hardback cover. It has all the stories from Old testament going all the way to the last days of Jesus's life. Looking forward to reading this with my kids.

Overall a good buy. It's a little confusing to look at with all the pictures but my kids are glad to have it. Just be aware as the whole Bible is depicted in images. May not be for small children under 5. I'd say this is more for fun than an actual Bible to read.
