I naught this about 3 weeks ago and I am absolutely in love with it. I have pretty loose curls and wavy ish hair and I it's really hard to find a product that can hold my hairs curl better than this one.

I did use some hair spray to help it out. It did not flake or feel sticky, which was great. The texture is soft foamy. I enjoyed it thank you

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For reference, I have wavy, coarse, and low density hair. My hair loves moisture but can also get weighed down pretty easily. Gels and mousses are the most difficult products for me to work with. But not this Volumizing Mousse! I've used Cake Beauty mousses in the past and have loved them so I was excited to try this one. It's a standard “whipping cream” bottle. The mousse smells like vanilla and you only need a small squirt for low density hair. It goes on smoothly and easily. I air dried my hair and it left my hair frizz-free yet without a cast. It also gave my hair some volume, although not too much. Overall, I think it's a great option for people who have thin, textured hair who struggle with finding a good gel/mousse.

Great Light Weight Mousse!

But this product has been a game changer for her. She has the lemon cookie scent and it smells so nice and clean. The product has fantastic hold and reduces frizziness tremendously. (We live in Alabama where we have extremely humid summers) and the product hasn't once failed her. 100% recommend!

I found it helpful to use some oil after my hair dries a little bit as it can get a bit crunchy. But the hold is nice

This mousse is truly weightless. Unlike some other volumizing products that leave your hair feeling heavy and greasy, this one lifts my hair without weighing it down. It goes on smoothly and evenly, leaving no flakiness or crunchiness. I am satisfied with the result - volumized locks that feel incredibly light and bouncy. It also smells good.

I don't think that the ￼ fragrance of this product lived up to the name it smelled more like gingerbread than lemon.

More bounce to the ounce

As for the final results, I don't see any difference with volume. My hair naturally has a lot of volume, so maybe that's why? I am looking forward to trying everything else by Cake, though!

Good product but not for me
