First, let me tell you I haven't opened the set because it is a gift for a grandson and will be mailed to him soon.  What I can say is I was so excited to see and feel the set!  It appears to be of great quality.  A few of the reviews I read before ordering left me a bit skeptical, so I was so pleased when I received it.  I was also very pleased with the delivery speed !

This is one of the best book collection you could own! The stories are captivating. I read them aloud to my 7 year old boy and he always asks me to keep reading. Buy this hardcover set for its durability. I highly recommend The Chronicles of Narnia to everyone!

Amazing book collection!

These were purchased for my son who loved these growing up. Now he has a set to read to his sons! And it's sturdy enough for them to pass on. The jackets are beautiful! We're all delighted with the purchase.

I loved how quick the turnaround was for me to receive the books. However the packaging damage the box a bit but because the books are hardcover, no damages to the books themselves. I am so excited to read these with my kids and the price was great for the hardcover set.

Great Deal

Good paper and binding. Pauline's Baynes illustrations are well-presented. The set is in the sequence Lewis suggested, starting with the Magician's Nephew.

A Narnian trip

I'm happy with the books I perchased. they arived on time in 100% great condition; bran new. however they are not the same covers or edition that the picture indicates. the whole reason I was willing to buy from walmart full price was so that I could get the edition I wanted. not real happy about it turning out to be a different one.

only just short of what I wanted

Came as paperback instead of hardcover.
I could have purchased the paperback for less money.
Disappointed.

The edition pictured in Walmart's description is different from the edition actually shipped to the buyer. This might not be an issue for some, but for others like me, I purchased this from Walmart specifically because I wanted the edition pictured.
