This makes straightening my baby hairs and front of my head so easily! It's create for fly always and a quick touch of too. I definitely recommend this product to curly girls.

The hot comb does heat up in 30 seconds and I love the settings preset for your hair type. Definitely helps to ensure I am using the right heat for my hair type, so no damage is done

Gets the JOB done!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tool actually surprised me.  It really does heat up in 30 seconds. The preset heat settings are pretty accurate. My favorite thing is that it is ceramic, which makes it glide through my hair. Conair did well with this one.

New school tool for my old school naturals

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a reluctant heat user as I'm afraid of damaging my natural coils. I used just enough heat to trim my ends. I actually like a hot comb much better than my flat iron as it seems as I have more control.

Good enough

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not a hot comb user so I was interested to see how this would work for me. I was working with blown out pre stretched hair. I started on a lower level because of this. I assumed less heat would work but found that you should keep to your level regardless of your hairs state. I had to pass it through more time on the lower heat level than the higher one which makes sense. The only down fall is with a hot comb there's no real way to add body without an extra step. However I could see this being useful if you have a hard time getting your roots straight. I love that it coated in ceramic and geared to avoid damage

Pretty good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For me, it did straighten my type 4 coils, just not like a traditional hot comb. It does not give silk press vibes either for sure. I would say if you need a straightened look for a certain hairstyle then this would be good if you hair very thick hair like I do but probably won't reach for this vs my flat irons or just blowing out my hair. It also states that it comes with a glove but it did not. Photo to show how it straightened piece of hair next to my twisted up hair strands.

I really wanted to like this but I feel like it didn't get the hair as straight. over all its was ok. if your hair thin and not so curly it may work better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to try this product out. There are lots of things that I like about the hot comb — the design/built-in stand is great, it heats up very quickly, and having customizable temperatures is an awesome feature. 

However, I think the top of it feels a little bulky compared to other tools, especially if the goal is to really straighten out the roots. Also, the predetermined heat ranges can be a little misleading since coily hair doesn't always need maximum heat in order to straighten (it could potentially damage the curl pattern).

Overall though, this is a great tool to have!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, mine did not come with the glove that is on the package which made this a little difficult to use. Overall, it was easy to just glide through hair and definitely got much closer to the root than any other hair tool I have tried. It did take multiple passes to get my hair straight. My hair is thick, but not super curly, just wavy but it does not like to stay straight. The device was very hot when it was close to my roots I had to make sure not to burn myself. Overall, I do not think I will replace my current hair tool with this device. I may try it a few more times, but it did not really give me the results I was hoping for.

Decent hair straightner

This product is a great idea but a serious burn hazard. You can't let it close to your scalp as the comb is really hot and will burn you. I hope they come up with a way fix that issue.
