I purchased this as a gift for my husband primarily because two of the games included are very expensive to buy the original versions. This way he was able to play them at a fraction of the cost. He told me he went to a video game convention where someone was selling rescue rangers two for $800. DuckTales two is also rather expensive on the secondary market so this game was a Steele so he could still enjoy the games he never would otherwise get to play.

Retro value!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The switch2 version of this game has Goof Troop which is a new addition. It's cool sort of top-down-Zelda-like puzzler. Also thanks to rewind function I was able to beat Duck Tales for only the 2nd time in my life (painstakingly did not have rewind feature when I played the old NES version). this is a lot fun with %26 some great throwback retro games. All game data is on the game cartridge too! (no downloads or taking up your system memory)

some great throwback retro games

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This game holds multiple old games from the past from the nes, gb, and snes just placed on the switch 2. Overall a fun game that is a blast of nostalgia from old Disney games.

Blast from the Past

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great collection of classic NES and SNES games. The save states and rewind features make the games less frustrating to play than they were years ago.

Fun Collection of Classic Games

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All the classics in one spot! Great addition to any gaming library!

All the classics!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Awesome Game very fun.

Game

I'm so confused as to why the Switch 2 version does not come with the Switch 1 version as well. If I insert this cartridge into a Switch 1, the Switch 1 cannot see the games.

For games published by Nintendo, such as Mario games, they come with both the Switch 1 and Switch 2 versions.

There are no built in cheats. For example, infinite health. I feel that this should have easily been an option. I know there are other easy ways to play with infinite health but this should be standard to add to these collections of old games.

This is fun to collect if you have nostalgia for this collection but there was little to no effort put into this collection.

No built in cheats (infinite health)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great way to revisit some old 8-bit favorites and they even throw in two 16-bit classics too! there are some fun extras/collectibles in the case too. would give it 5 stars but a couple of the games are just not enjoyable (looking at you, Talespin) and it would have been better to throw in an alternate version of say Darkwing Duck from the TG-16. But if you enjoyed Rescue Rangers or DuckTales and want to play the sequels this is a great pickup for that alone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the ability to rewind. Love the nostalgia.

Nineties Nostalgia

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was not too impressed with this game. I have the Nintendo switch 2 version, but I can't see what the difference is between this version and the switch 1 version. Besides the switch 1 version being $10.00 cheaper. It was fun to play for about 1 hour for the nostalgia factor. After that I was done with it. The controls are bad, the graphics don't really look much better than the original version. I would personally skip this once and buy something else.

Skip this video game. Not worth it

The Disney Afternoon Collection Nintendo Switch 2 game case featuring retro Disney NES and SNES characters including Scrooge McDuck holding a diamond, Chip and Dale carrying a crate, Darkwing Duck aiming a weapon, and Baloo giving a thumbs up, with a red Nintendo Switch 2 banner, ESRB rating E, and Atari logo on a white background.
