my children have been wanting elf on the shelf for years but due to the price I have been apprehensive. I did decide to buy it this year at $34.99. they have been having a great time every morning finding out where the elf is. I do where's pricing was at roughly $20 as more families would be able to enjoy this new and fun tradition with their children.

Was a little pricey but definitely worth every penny. Price not too bad though. No price to high when it comes to seeing a smile on my little ones face. Definitely recommend getting this elf bundle. Comes with a cute little story book and you can even give your elf a name and mark it in the book.

It has been almost 6 years and I've been wanting to have an elf on the shelf to have around my home for Christmas. Well, I finally broke down and bought one. I am so glad that I did. I love reading the story book to my grandchildren. They are fascinated by this. And it's so much fun with the little elf decorating the house. I look forward to Christmas again this year.

We love celebrating Christmas and this is a perfect family game to play throughout the entire season. Children look forward to Santa and Christmas all year long. This brings everything together and everyone even closer.

I wish it would come with wire in the arms so that you can make more believable poses and the arms can stay in place.

Do. Not. Buy. These. DEFINITELY  do NOT gift one of these to somebody.  I guess the point of these Scout Elves is they spy on your kids and report back to santa if they're behaving. I am 37 years old and I never had a scout elf growing up not even when I believed in Santa. If you believe in Santa his whole deal is he can ALREADY see you and knows if you're behaving. Or sleeping, which my kids don't.  Never have. As someone who's very loving and well-meaning mother purchased one for her granddaughter, my daughter, I now don't get to sleep a single night in December every year. Instead of only not sleeping on Christmas Eve it is now 25 nights of exhaustion. I have to stay awake until my kids FINALLY fall asleep because this elf is supposed to move each night before the kids wake up. What a nightmare. Sometimes I wake up at 5AM in a full panic when I hear the kids stirring and I forgot to move the elf. Nobody has time for this in December too, on top of regular cooking, cleaning, raising kids, there's all the holiday stuff like getting a tree, buying and wrapping gifts, decorating, baking, etc. Good Lord. Also, you don't just  have to move the elf, because the other kids at school will have cool elves that pull pranks and leave gifts, so mommy why didn't we get a good elf? And some people are crazy elf people and they love doing the elves and they bring them back on Thanksgiving or whatever because they can't get enough of it. Wonderful,  I love that for them. But DON'T DO THIS TO ANYONE! I only had to buy this one myself, because I couldn't find the freaking elf at the end of November last year. After having an elf for the last 6 years it can't just not show up. Now it's a last second struggle, paying top dollar to try and find a replacement elf in time. The same elf that you hate and don't want. Merry Christmas!
