Spinner Performance

Offers similar value to other products in its class.

Suitable for playing with children and adults together.

Fails to maintain consistent spinning performance.

Can be sturdy, but also prone to flimsiness.

Lack of included instructions or unclear presentation hinders user understanding.

Game is really fun and a great physical activity but can be difficult for younger kids playing against older ones. There are several tiles that can either be cluttered closely together or spread further apart for more of a challenge. Being made of foam, the tiles themselves are a slipping hazard on hardwood floors and smooth carpet when the kids leap from tile to tile. Non slip rubber grip tape can be used to prevent the tiles from sliding. Great for indoors or outdoors.

Fun game but slight slipping hazard.

Got this for my 2 boys age 10 and 6 and they love it. It was simple enough for me to explain how to play and they were able to play on there own too. totally worth the purchase cause it keeps them busy for awhile too. make sure u have plenty of floor space though to make it as fun as possible.

My son absolutely loves the tv show, so when I seen this game I knew he'd love it. He's always throwing them down on the floor and playing the floor is lava. It's a good game for everyone, quick and easy to set up and clean up. They are foam so they don't break easily. Good family game!

Good family game.

The floor is Lava! Get that song stuck in your head while reading this review! My 4 year old picked this out and her and her little 3 year old sister love this game! The material that the foam safety stones are made from do not slide on our travertine floors when stepping on nor on our or thick carpeting. For safety do a check before playing on your particular floor.

The object is to be the last player "Alive" by not falling in the lava. The safety stones are placed withing a close distance based on the size of player in the play area. The spinner says thr Floor is Lava and the game begins and each player picks any safety stone to start on. The spinner than spins calls out The Floor is Lava and then the color the spinner lands on. The players use the safety stones to get to the color called out. With our little ones we are lax on their feet hanging a little bit over onto the floor. If they land on a question mark they have to complete that challenge that the spinner gives them from the top card of the deck. They are super simple. You could probably even create cards and ideas of your own. The last player to get to the color for each move, the spinner will remove their last safety stone they were on. Pretty soon stone colors will run out for a player or or be eliminated from stepping in the lava and the player left wins. Cute. fun and gets everyone involved. Some times I set up the stones for them, sometimes I let them set them out.

bought this as something fun for my grandkids. The 3 year old even got to play. learning his colors. i thought this was a great idea since they play this with my couch pillows. So muvh fun.

Floor Lava game

This game is an absolute hit in our house! Endless Games The Floor is Lava Leaping Game keeps my kids moving, laughing, and burning off energy in the best way. The setup is quick, the pieces are sturdy, and the rules are easy enough that everyone can jump right in even younger players. We love how it turns our living room into an active play zone and gets the whole family involved instead of staring at screens. It's perfect for rainy days, playdates, or anytime the kids need a fun brain-and-body break. Highly recommend for families with energetic kids!

Non-Stop Fun for Active Kids

Very entertaining. Like Twister in moves , but don't have keep on two spots. Love the mystery cards. Lots of action and fun.

I bought it for my grandson.. But the whole family has fun playing it.. Great game even for adults its a great workout.. lol..

great game

Fun game for the kids although some of the "ways to play" outlined in the game instructions are a bit over thought. Would recommend having a big enough open area to place the tiles rather than having to orange then around furniture and making trails written them, especially if you play and eliminate the tiles as each hand is played.

It's a-lava fun.

I don't get this game at all, but my daughter seems to love it. She will play for hours on end or however long she can find someone to play with her. It's basically just some thin foam-like squares, a deck of cards, and a spinner. The cheap quality of the game pieces and how very barely there the game is are the reasons for my 3-star rating. I feel the price is rather steep for so little in return.

Do not buy. The smell about knocked me out, the foam tiles smelt so bad like moth balls. It came with a disclaimer that the tiles will smell for a few days, I put this game in the closet 10 minutes after playing.
The Instructions were all over the place, were not clear

Skip this game, no fun

The Floor is Lava Game box showing cartoon children jumping on foam safety stones in a living room with a lava floor, holding a spinner card, a classic family game for 3 or more players ages 5 and up that encourages physical activity and imaginative play.
