I love the Giving Tree and all of the works of Shel Silverstein. I also purchased Where the sidewalk ends the special edition.  It contains Hector the collector, sick, Sarah cynthia sylvia stout, and Hector the Collector. All excellent collection of poems that I would recommend to anyone.

The book is a must read for all children.  It is a simple and easy read which reveals some important life lessons.   I highly recommend parents to introduce this book to their children and use it to teach them.

My granddaughters loved the book. The only down side I would say is the two year old twins were afraid of the author's picture on the back of the book. It is definitely a little scary.

Fun collectors book for kids.

Great Book! This is a book that every child should have on their bookshelf. Parents and grandparents will love reading this book as it speaks about the circle of life. It has a durable cover and pages which should last a long time. A book that even your children will want to give it to their children as the time goes by.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a story that young children don't understand.  My grandsons used to have me read it, just to see me cry. The tree in the story is the parent who is happy to give everything possible in order to make their child happy.

This is my daughter's favorite book and when her brother ripped her old one she was so upset. so it was nice to get it fast.
