I'm reviewing this because there were no reviews when I bought it and I was extremely hesitant (and had an aversion to ebikes) but the price was right and I'm completely happy with my purchase. I use this for commuting 8 miles each way from my house to work downtown. 
- Assembly was relatively easy, only the handlebars needed some tightening after the first test ride
- I'm 5'3 and the frame fits me well, there was no mention of the frame size in the listing so I was wary it would be too large
- Throttle to turn on the motor is intuitive and the controls make sense
- Really is powerful! Pedaling is still needed to get up large hills but the motor makes it extremely easy
- This is by far the heaviest bike I own. Fine on flat road but you really do need the motor for any type of hill.
- I'll still use my road and mountain bikes, but this is a fine solution if you don't want to get too sweaty while going by bike.

What kind of throttle does this bike have or is it just pedal assist?

This bike is actually well made material wise. Feels very sturdy and goes very fast. Seems like really good quality. However I find it to be quite unsafe. 

The pedals hit the front wheel, so if you have to turn while riding, or if something is in front of you and you have to turn quickly, say to avoid bumps, it's quite unsafe. 

Also if you are obeying traffic lights and have to stop often, it's not ideal because you have to pedal back up to get to a certain level before the electric kicks in. It can be very unsafe if you have bumpy roads, and if you're around a lot of people and things happening. 

If you are using it on straightaways like a bike trail where there are no traffic stops and less bumby road it can be so fun, because it can go really fast. I love this bike, but the downfalls unfortunately outweigh the upsides. 

I think I might keep it because the price was really good, but have to be very very careful riding it, more than a bike that doesn't have your feet hit the wheel while riding. Even just to hop on it can be a struggle. 

Also I'm also roughly 5'5" and my feet don't touch the ground even on the lowest setting which can also make it much harder to stop at traffic lights if I don't have a curb next to me.
