Works just like a front loader washing machine, just smaller. It holds more than the other manual (and some small electric) washers. Simple to use.  Sturdy. If you are going back and forth about the manual washers on here,  I really think this is the best choice.

Cordless and simple to operate! 
First purchased the older WW with the screw on lid some years ago to clean delicate or stained fabrics that needed to soak more than to be agitated. Developed a system for quick and easy and limited water washing and rinsing hand-wash and regular items.  
Also purchased the extractor-drier to make items damp-dry and ready  to "finger press" and hang.
Just purchased the newer same size load WW with quick close lid and slightly smaller footprint as a special treat. 
You will find the WW is a great practical idea whether at home, off grid or on the road OR where and when the power fails and you wonder what you can do while you wait... You can wash clothes!

This worked better then I expected. I was thinking I would use it for hand washables etc. I didn't want to take to the Laundromat. I have been able to do almost all of my laundry. My husband poked a little fun at me at first but after seeing it work he has completely changed his tune. Plus I can come home throw my clothes from the day in. No germs from the day lingering in my home.

pros: non electric, relatively fast wash cycles, uses little H2O, user friendly [my kids are doing chores to be the lucky one who gets to spin the next load!] 
cons: CAPACITY * 2dozen pair kids underwear and socks OR 3or5 PAIR girls size6x Jean's OR about 6 kids cotton shirts. adults maybe 1 pair of Jean's or 3 size Xl tshirts
HOWEVER WE'VE BEEN WITHOUT A WASHER 2WEEKS SO TOTALLY WORTH IT! [especially since it'll be another 10 days before the appointment for the repair service to even check it out]
if you have the time to stand an spin the basket it's great, if you have kids even better ;) this is great although please do yourself a favor let drain atleast 10 min between wash and rinse [also second rinse is a must for sensitive skin] 
pro tip for eco conscious. that second rinse water is perfectly clean enough to use for the  first wash water of the next load.  also spinning a few extra times after draining the rinse water helps but laundry still needs wringing out by hand.  I just got it yesterday and I've done 9 loads, [2ish regular size washer loads] over all awesome buy.

great little washer. has pros an cons.

I bought this because we were without power for a week, after a tornado came through our area.  This is a handy little washer when you can't use electricity. ( you also get a bit of an arm workout)

WonderFUL washer

This is an incredible little washer.  Does a whole load of clothes (days worth) and the crank is easy to turn.  Uses less water and detergent than the washing machine and makes my laundry much less stressful.

Best little washer

Great little washer! Definitely watch how much soap you use!  It washes wonderfully and rinsed well too but I had to rinse more than normal because I used way too much soap. I got it for emergencies because when the ice and snow hit Texas I had no way to wash clothes!  I ordered this but did not get it until our water was finally restored so I ended up not really needing it. However I am putting it in my camp and emergency gear!

Great emergency item to have

Using to much soap  makes is hard to rinse soap out of clothes.. one teaspoon or less or you'll be using a ton of water to get the soap out. Drain clogs easy. Frame seems weak. Be prepared to get wet when washing clothes. Rinsing your clothes the way the directions say leads to u wearing soapy clothes. Hang the wet soapy clothes and hit them with a water hose works best. It does clean some dirt but nothing like the real deal. Don't see it lasting long.

I'd rather not

The only problem I have with the Wonderwash is not the fault of the product... My  kitchen cupboards are too close to my sink and, in order to spin the washer, the feet of the washer must hang over the sink...  Even so, it works as it is supposed to and does a good job.

A Handy Device

This slips and skids all over the place.  It is heavy when filled with water and was too much for my muscles.
