Been playing through this game with two friends and it is a blast. Graphics are pretty good, especially the character models. Combat is very visceral and fun, with the various special abilities mixing in with quick-time like critical hits. Yes, it can be repetitive, but I can't think of any video game which does not contain repetitive combat mechanics. Throughout the campaign I still looked forward to each fight.

There are a great many secrets to keep you checking each nook and cranny of the levels (which are fairly linear) and lots of gear/weapon types.

Playing co-op is fantastic, but I cannot speak to the AI for teammates when playing solo.

If you like the old Baulder's Gate Dark Alliance games, or even the Diablo/Borderlands combat-for-loot formula, and enjoy the LOTR universe, give this game a try.

This is a really good coperative game for online players. Can acomidate up to 3 different gamers at one time. Good story line and the graphics are good too.

Excellent online coperative game.

I wouldn't wish this game on my worst enemy. Total garbage. No ability to save, it saves for you at random times. No documentation, so don't expect to be able to figure out how to move your equipment around without totally messing up your character. Same with the experience points. I should have just picked a decent established game to go with my xbox bundle but chose this nightmare because I'm such a LOTR fan. What a letdown.
