One of the best books that I have ever read. It tells an amazing story about life, loss, and discovering new things. The book is sad and very happy at the same time, amazing story line, does not dissapoint. I hope the movie does not reck this book I have come to love. But if the author believes it is a good movie, than I'm sure it will be.

I was touched by this book long ago, and I read all of her books. Very unique way of writing. I just hope the movie doesn't butcher a good thing!

Exceptional!  LONG before it became a movie..

When I first read this book a few years ago, I could NOT PUT IT DOWN! I love it. It is so greeeat! And now that it so good and now as it premiers on the big screen I cant wait to see the movie!!! I read it over and over, its great~

In Love

I read this book in school a couple of years back and fell in love with it. Its definitely one of my favorites, although i wouldn't recommend it for kids under 16 or just sensitive due to the content that is included in the first chapter. after you read this--and you should--you should check out Lucky, also by Alice Sebold, which is about her own experiences. don't let the content scare you off. its actually an amazing book.
and read the book BEFORE you watch the movie. from what i can tell, it will not be as much like the book as i hoped :(

AMAZING BOOK

This book is so good. You gotta read it. I thought the beginning was a little slow but man as I got more into it, I could not put it down. Its about a girl who gets murdered and then what happens to her family and friends afterwards. Its a book you will want to read more than once.

One of the best books

Horrible, horrible novel! I love reading books before the movie, so before I went to watch it with some friends I bought the book. The book itself was a wonderful product, the message within: not so wonderful! I would not recommend this to anyone! At all! It provides a warped consideration of love. Not worth reading! I'm not going to watch the film now.

Fine Product- Horrific Book!

This book is very good. I am not an avid reader, but I really wanted to read this book and could not put it down! The only thing I didn't like completely was the ending. It was a good ending, but I think more things could have been included in more detail.

Very good book!

The Lovely Bones is an excellent, emotional story looking at life on Earth from the inbetween. before going thru the " LIGHT "Beautifully written. Are there really Angels among us ???? The Lovely Bone will not dissapoint any reader.....

Attention Getter

I intend on seeing the movie, but am an avid believer in reading the book before seeing the film if possible. The book is very good it evokes different emotions.
