Minimum Number of Players

Brand

The Mind is a 2 - 4 player cooperative card game where players cannot talk or give hints to one another, yet must work together to complete rounds. Each round players are dealt cards from a deck that has numbered cards from 1 - 100. Depending on the round, the player card count changes equivalent to the current round (level one players get 1 card, level 2 players get 2 cards, and so on). Collectively players must play cards into the center of the table on a single discard pile in ascending order, but cannot communicate with one another in any way as to which cards they hold. When a player feels the time is right, they play their lowest card and hope that no other player has a lower card. If no other player has a lower card, the round continues, however if someone does hold a lower card than what was played, players get rid of all cards in the discard pile and the team loses one life. The team starts the game with a number of lives equal to the number of players. Lose all your lives, and you lose the game. You start with one shuriken as well, and if everyone wants to use a shuriken, each player discards their lowest card face up, giving everyone information and getting you closer to completing the level. As you complete levels, you receive a reward of a shuriken or an extra life. Complete all the levels, and you win! For an extra challenge, play The Mind in extreme mode with all played cards going onto the stack face down. You don't look at the cards played until the end of a level, losing lives at that time for cards played out of order.

I love this game! Our son was in visiting from LA and he played it with us and a couple other family members. We liked it so much that we bought it too.

Fun game

walmart.com

We love this game...great for a small group of 2 or 4 ppl....but just as fun to sit back and observe

Fun game!

Great game that forces players to work together

Easy to grasp rules
Great with kids and adults alike
Fun for game night. Love this game. You think its sounds silly / then you play and your head explodes

Bette than you think

Collaberative game

A fun cooperative game for a family with older kids. I don't think kids younger than 10 years of age would enjoy it. Walmart had this at a much lower price than Amazon.

Fun Cooperative Family Game

The game I ordered did not come as the pictured showed. I received a cheaper version of the game.

AWFUL

The Mind cooperative card game, centered top-down view showing numbered white cards (1–100) with black numerals, a visible shuriken token and slim rule sheet on a tabletop; silent multiplayer party game for 2–4 players that practices nonverbal turn-taking, often played at game nights.
