Buyer Beware - this is not authentic La Mer.  You may or may not believe all of the claims about how wonderful Authentic La Mer is.  I happen to believe that it works.  I have used the cream for 22 years.  I decided to order this because I was shocked at the low price and wanted  to see what was going on for myself.

Once the fake La Mer package arrived, the item was such a ridiculous dupe that I can't even be upset.  It is laughable.  I called Walmart Customer Service immediately and they were quick to apologize and offer a refund.  I'm sharing this info in the hopes it may help someone else.

Not sure why anyone would want to purchase a fake face cream.  Something that literally goes onto the skin of your FACE, something that you have NO IDEA WHAT"S ACTUALLY IN IT.  Is it even safe?  

This seller, and others just like this one, have reached new disgusting lows in my opinion.  

In the photos I've added, I used an authentic 1oz cream jar to compare with the fake 2oz jar for your reference.  The differences are so noticeable and ridiculous....all the way down to the packaging, the fake came with no paperwork (they always do), the fake jar is 2 different colors, The light pink/peach shade on the fake is so wrong, the fake has no ingredient list on the back of the jar, etc.

There's so much fake La Mer out there that this post most likely won't make a dent in their business, but I wanted to at least try.

As a regular user of LaMer Moisturizer.   I cannot positively tell you this is NOT THE REAL THING.   I received this and that packaging was copied pretty well.  The moisturizer was nothing like LaMer.  I returned and waiting for a refund.  I do spend over $200 for the real thing but I feel like it is totally worth it.   Walmart should take this product and seller off their website.

TOTALLY FAKE PRODUCT

I will add my two cents as this is not real La Mer. I knew going into it that this was a big possibility, but I let that little bit of hope get the best of me. The packaging is pretty good until you realize that they have replaced the lid with a plastic lid, and the scoop is also cheap. The moisturizer itself is probably Ponds cold cream. Nothing like La Mer. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. I suppose falling in love with such an expensive facial cream, we open ourselves up to trying to find a deal. But this is not it.

Fake La Mer. REMOVE SELLER FROM YOUR SITE Walmart

Amazing fake product, smells like garbage!  the packaging is very different and they sell for $100 and wallmart does it!  I wanted to buy it because it is a product that I have used for a long time and found at an affordable price, and the result was disappointing.  I'm sorry I won't be shopping at wallmart again...

I have used La Mer, the moisturizing cream, for years.  The label on this product says that it what it is.  However, the texture was that of the soft cream which if it was, would have said that it was the soft cream on the box and jar.  This was not a La Mer product.  Disappointing because it is a great price.  I'm giving it 1 star because the site wouldn't letting me send a review without a star rating.

This is a fake product. Been buying La Mer soft cream for years and it is absolutely not the same consistency or smell. Naive of me to think that I could buy this cream at such a steep discount, obviously it was too good to be true.
