Great, compact roadside emergency kit. Has vest and flares. Flares are easy to start, unlike some others. takes up very little space and everything's in one spot.

These road flares are SO USEFUL to have when it is getting dark out to make sure that you don't get hit. These are so much more better than LED signals. We live in a world full of LED products, so people have grown to ignore LED's. Nobody ignores a road flare. These are so visually distinct and bright that *everyone* will slow down to figure out what is going on. I have stopped to deploy these at countless accidents I've seen over the years, and the 30 minutes of burn time is exactly how long it takes emergency services to arrive many times. I highly, highly recommend this product to everyone!

An essential requirement for all cars

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used Orion flares dozens of times, and will keep buying them for auto emergency kits. There's just no replacement for a disposable emergency light. Triangle reflectors simply aren't that effective.

Going by first impression only

Exactly as expected and then some. I guess I didn't fully read the description, so I was pleasantly surprised when I noted the reusable zippered fabric bag with Velcro on the bottom so it doesn't slide around in the back of my car. Or the orange safety vest that was also enclosed. Also plenty of space for additional flares if you have them.

Excellent for the value

They are laid out nicely in a cloth case with a carrying handle and it opens fully with an easy to use zipper. No more having the flares rolling around loose in the the trunk or any chance of them being damaged by other items that may be loose in the trunk.  Easy to follow instructions are included as well as a graphically designed placement when using by the roadside.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The description (and price) say that these flares burn for 30 minutes.  The product I received says on the label that they only burn for 20 minutes.  That is only 5 additional minutes from the less expensive 15 minute flares.  Very disappointed to pay a premium and get only a marginally better product.  I don't know if it is Walmart description or seller description issue, but it is an issue for sure!
