LOVED THE PAN, BUT ONLY LASTED 4 MONTHS. WAS COOKING AND JUST AS I FINISHED THE LIGHT ON THE CONTROL QUIT, PAN NEVER CAME ON AGAIN. I HAVE PANS OF GRANITE ROCK FOR THE STOVE BUT NOW IN WHEELCHAIR IT WAS EASIER TO COOK IN MY ELECTRIC SKILLET, NOW HAVE TO FIND ANOTHER KIND OF SKILLET THATS CHEAPER.

GREAT PAN THAT WORKS FOR ONLY MONTHS

Initially, I was pleased with The Rock (delivered 5-13-23). Heating distribution was even, ease of use was great, everything cooked with The Rock tasted delicious, and cleanup was a breeze. However, those positive aspects only lasted  about three months. By August, the skillet had developed “hot spots” which prevented even cooking and the handles and lid knob had to be tightened every five days or so. By September, the coating inside the skillet had begun wearing off in several places - even though I only used silicone and smooth wood utensils while cooking.  As of 10-26-23, the coating inside the skillet is so degraded that a replacement skillet is necessary. 
I did a lot of research before purchasing The Rock and felt that I was purchasing an electric skillet that would last several years. But I was wrong, and I am extremely disappointed in the poor quality and limited durability of the item. I would not recommend purchasing The Rock.
