This deliciously rich and smoky black lentil curry is the most popular daal in Indian restaurants around the world. The lentils make a really flavourful, earthy and nutty curry, enriched by spices, ginger and tomatoes.
If you’ve never tried Makhani Daal, you’re in for a treat. These lentils are actually whole tiny black beans which when cooked slowly, plump up into creamy flavourful nuggets of deliciousness.
This daal is a restaurant staple and a real favourite in India. It is simply flavoured with tomatoes, whole spices, ginger and garlic for a deep rich, slightly smoky flavour, with a little cream and butter for that signature richness. It is absolutely delicious, some might say addictive, so be warned!

Aroma

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I enjoyed this little meal kit! Everything you need is included, except for meat of course (if you want meat, I think this is usually made without!). It was fresh and delicious and a good portion size as well! Not too spicy which I actually prefer! A great option for Indian food!

Good!

influenster.com

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The steps were very easy to follow, the flavour was sort of “beany” which I loved. Served with diced chicken over rice. The flavour was not spicy at all and smelled incredible while cooking. I would recommend this to others and I would make this again. Tasty enough to make for others for something a little different at dinner time.

Delicious & Easy!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) All the spices and the flavours combined gave it the perfect taste and it truly was a great combination together with the lentils and the steamed rice and everything just worked together so nicely! It isn't too spicy and if you prefer not spicy at all you can take away the chili in the spice packet. Was so quick and easy to make! My mother loved it as well!!

Perfect blend!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Having daal for dinner is a staple in our home. This was such an easy way to make it and the instructions were very simple to follow. The outcome, a delicious dinner full of flavor! I loved pairing this with plain white rice for a wonderful dinner. If you are looking for tons of flavor, easy to make and simple instructions, definitely check it out. I would recommend and I cannot wait to try the other flavors.

Full of flavor

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Everyone in my family absolutely love Indian food and quite often prepare and cook our own. But sometimes we're in a hurry and just want something quick ... So this package of 3 steps made our lunch delicious especially when it's served with rice.

This product is very tasty and not that spicy with such a yummy healthy seasonings. I feel good that I'm eating good quality ingredients and it requires no effort!

Absolutely DELICIOUS

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I have received this free from Influencer. I
have read this is a popular meal in restaurants in India. We tried it and loved it made homemade Nann. We do t like too spicy but this was mild. Really easy to make. All the long cooking times have been done for you. Will look forward to trying more products from The Spice Tailor.

Really creamy

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I'm surprised how much i enjoyed this ! Taste was excellent and full of flavour. My son loved it as well! I'm always looking for fast and easy foods for when we're running around for sports all winter long. This will be perfect!

Delish!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) My step sister from BC was visiting me this week, she's a vegetarian and I'm not. This product to try came in at the perfect time! Her and I had
a fun evening at creating a delicious and easy meal together!

Delish!!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I have been buying Spice Tailor products for 6-7 years now and the things I like about them is authentic flavours. This one is a particular favourite of mine. As a vegetarian I can trust their ingredients and make a delicious curry for two easily. I have tried other sauces but they always seem to be like the mainstream Indian restaurants produce, pretty flavourless food. So now I only buy these. Try for yourself!

Flavorful & Amazing

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) These spices and flavours are not something that we have tried before so to us it was a completely alien taste. It is not the kind of thing we would buy at the store because nobody in the family would like the taste of it.

Not to our liking
