I now own a total of 5 of these devices and could not be more happy. Safe. Effective. Convenient. Read the (legit) reviews - wirecutter, rei, gear patrol - and do some research on Metofluthrin and you will never use citronella, deet, or bug zappers again... (no affiliation just a happy customer)

Simply the best (and most effective)

Gotta say this thing works Unbelievably!  We had been almost carried away by mosquitoes so i ordered the Radius. The package showed up and all the mosquitoes dissapeared,  before i even charged the unit. Seriously! So ill try it out when they come back next year.

Works without even using it!

I've always been a "mosquito magnet" and when bit I get welts! Well not anymore thanks to the Radius Zone! My property is in the woods, with a natural stream running through we have tons of mosquito making it miserable to enjoy sitting outside that is until now using this wonderful little product always me to sit out on my deck without one mosquito bite!

Works beyond expectation

We have used the product a couple of times so far, and it does seem to keep away the mosquitoes as advertised. As the instructions say, it does not work immediately, but the mosquitoes seem to go away after about 10 minutes. Also it seems the device works for roughly 10 minutes after turning it off. I haven't been able to fully gauge the range, but it seems to be at least 10 feet.

Very effective at keeping mosquitoes away from approximately a 20 square foot area.
The only negative review I have is the battery life. 2 hours is the maximum amount of time I've been able to use the unit before the yellow charger light comes on and battery needs recharging.

Found that the bugs don't like it but it can be slow to start so we've been setting it out 15 minutes before we go out to make sure it's heated up and working.  Also, after turning off and the unit cools down, we believe putting the cap back on the wick helps it start quicker especially if you're not going to use it for a few days.

Thermacell Customer Service

I thought I loved this device.  I purchased it even after reading some negative reviews.  When working it repels well, however, after not many uses the unit will not turn on after charging.  I only purchased my second repellent cartridge and just began using it when the device would no longer work.

Thermacell disappointment

I had been sitting outside on a windless morning, Thermacell turned on for the past 30 minutes and parked two feet from me, when trying to write this review.  After being bit by mosquitos twice while composing my thoughts, I retreated indoors to complete the review - It doesn't seem to work at all.

Utterly useless - does not work.

I charged and used this one time.  Exactly 2 hrs on the patio.  Then turned it off.  Tried to use it the next day, would not work.  I recharged and turned it on.  The on button just turned colors and never turned on.  I have enough fluid still in the cartridge.  Not a happy camper at this point.  I may return this product.
