Perfect for my sore hands and fingers.
It takes 90min for the wax to melt

I've used this once after reading the directions twice. My arthritic hands do feel better after use. My husband cut the wax (included) up into six pieces per pound instead of four and It took less than 1.5 hours to melt. Then I waited another half hour before putting my hands in, which worked out well (the wax was hot, but not enough to cause a problem.) Following the instructions, I quickly and gently dipped one hand in five times, then used the plastic liner and mitt. Then repeat with the other hand. I kept the mitts on for about 15 minutes. I recommend opening up the plastic liner before dipping because once the wax is on your hands, the liner is hard to open. There was no leak. So far, so good!

Did the job as it is described!

So let me just tell you about this little gem right here! It only has one setting, ON.
IT DOES NOT GET TO HOT. The wax it comes with, is absolutely amazing and does wonders for the hand. It is big enough to fit my foot and I'm and 7.5. It DOES NOT come with the hand bags or mittens that you also need. (In my opinion) That being said,
I love this one compared to the bigger version I got of this. It heats up faster and stays at an even temperature. The bigger one you have to set high to melt and then turn down to get at the right temperature. The big one also comes with bags and mittens but its still a pain to find the right setting. Even though I love them both I would still recommend this one more then my bigger one because it has proven more effective for me. My husband also prefers this one compared to my bigger one. (He is the reason I originally bought my bigger version. He is a journeyman carpenter and his hands were beat up really bad, cracked and split and this machine is one of the fastest ways to heal hands or feet)

Smooth as a baby's bottom.

Done good to my hands!! I work a lot with my hands in my life being a Mother of 6 and constantly wash my hands so they become very dry and achy by the end of the day. With this paraffin wax bath, I'm able to treat my hands at home almost every single day.
plug it in and within an hour it is ready to use and it the heat from the wax also It helps moisturize and sooth my achy joints . Totally recommend.

Good quality good size

So first off, I had to use a paraffin dipper after a wrist injury years ago. I always thought it was something only available in nail salons and PT offices... when I was offered the chance to review this I was so happy to get to try it! As a nurse my hands are always dry, the last year has only made them worse. This has been a Godsend, honestly. I've only used it three times so far but can already tell an improvement in moisture. Also, I feel like I'm having less arthritic pain in my right wrist from my old injury. Could just be that I'm also massaging at the end of my treatment. Either way, the time spent on self care because of receiving this has been so lovely. It's not hard to use. Definitely saves money vs getting it done at a salon. Highly recommend!

Great, love, recommend!

I always enjoyed getting paraffin baths for my hands at the nail salon before COVID & now I can do that at home! This is just like at the salon. It's simple to set up and comes with wax. This is a simple luxury to have at home. I have dry and cracked hands and feet and after dipping both my hands and my feet into the wax and leaving the paraffin wax on for 20 mins (i wrapped towels around my feet and secured it with a rubber band) i can see a noticeable difference in the look and feel of my skin. It was also fun for my kids to try and then peel off their feet. I have been using the paraffin bath once a week since I got it, it's such a fun addition to my self care routine.

A simple luxury

So easy to use especially during this cold winter weather. This is my first at home paraffin bath home treatment. Left my hands feeling so soft and moisturizer, much needed in the winter and especially with all the sanitize I use at work and commute. I've had paraffin treatment done at the nail salon and this is just like it, PLUS at the comfort of your home! Especially now during the pandemic, the less of the public I encounter the better!

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Now that it's colder and we are all washing/sanitizing our hands more frequently, our hands get dry. I was excited to try this system to moisturize our skin. I was surprised by how small the unit is though. It's impossible for my husband to put his hand in and spread out his fingers. I was hoping to be able to use it for my feet, but it's not big enough for my whole foot either. Nonetheless, I did find it to be a fun treat for a cold wintry day as it's so warm and it did add some moisture to our hands. Although, it did take 3 hours for the wax to completely melt, versus the 90 minutes it advertised. So, plug the unit in hours before you actually want to use it.

I didn't mind that it took just over 2 hours for the wax to melt, the problem was it was way too hot. I turned it off to let it cool and still uncomfortable. When I noticed wax forming on the top layer I knew I shouldn't wait any longer...but it was still hot and gave me red fingers.

Didn't work out

I was very excited to try this at home paraffin bath system. I would love to be able to do wax manicures and pedicures at home just like the ones I get in the salon/spa.
Unfortunately the True Glow system was just a big disappointment!. The wax takes 90 minutes to heat up for use which is a ridiculously long time. Id rather goto the salon where I can be in and out in under an hour. Much as I liked the design, appearance, and concept of this product 90 minutes just to melt the wax is too long for me.

Big dissapointment

Thermal Paraffin Bath Moisturizing Spa centered, front-facing view of a heated paraffin wax bath unit with open basin showing unmelted paraffin wax, visible control knob and removable lid, white plastic housing on a neutral surface. Includes 1 lb. of unscented wax; suitable for moisturizing hands, elbows and heels and often used to soften cuticles before manicures.
